John Sheppard/Teyla Emmagan Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread

Well, we already know what Carson and Rodney are doing.....

Aha!! I can't write Ronon very well, but I had a idea for him, but I just forgot what it was, though I DO have a strong sidestory for him. Namely his family life. Say a old memory reserfaces after seeing the ship and the injured person? It's all coming back!!!

We know what Carson and Rodney are doing (Radek is with Rodney when the device goes out for a smoke break never to come back.)

Ronon in my minds eye, has a flashback of his past on Sateda, before the Wraith war there ever happened. Maybe a river or a lakeside scene of some kind? (I forget who the woman he loved was, i'll just call her May for now) He gets the memory upon sight of the injured woman, because she looks similar to May herself. He tells Sheppard and Teyla, who (have they had tyheir honeymoon yet?) are chatting about life on earth. dreams and things liek that.

The three of them then go on a little "History Hike on Sateda" (via the Daedalus to get there) when there they unlock more of this odd group that came to Atlantis.

Meanwhile in Atlantis the erson comes to, Woosley gets his own scene with the person, who at first does not understand what he's saying. He explains where the person is. Then they begin to understand the other. though their trust is not very strong due to Rodney's constant tinkering with her device. Which is boardcasting a destress signal.

Ship details are still coming. I'll have almost all of it on my LJ if that helps

Ok. We've established that Carson is helping the girl out. And unless everyone is on the same page as you about Rodney stealing her alien tech and it going up in a puff of smoke( which technically isnt the same as an explosion), I think that should be omited. Thus omitting a distress signal. Unless it happened after she crashed and it's her ship doing it. I can see that. IMO.

Another thing. Unless this alien girl is from Sateda, weather she looks like Marina or not, I doubt they'd leave her there while they go to Sateda for lovely Ronon memories. Again, IMO.
Oh, and we're still working on getting John and Teyla together, so no marriage or talks of them living on Earth... that I know of. :O

Ok. The alien girl. You said she was going to Atlantis for help. Why would she not know why she is there? Why does she need help and what damaged her ship to crash?


I'm not trying to pull your story apart hun, just trying to make sense if. I know it makes sense to you, but I'm just not getting it.

The A plot should be the alien girl. Why is she there and what happened? Also, they need to find away to help her with what she's having trouble with.

B- plot would be them saving her and stopping the distress signal on her ship. If it did make it to Rodney's lab and was destroyed, it wouldn't send out a signal because it was destroyed, right?

So, Rodney and Radek could be at the ship on the mainland, trying to stop the signal, while Woolsey, Shep, Ronon and Teyla wait patiently for the girl to wake up and extract info.

If we stick with that. We could have a great story.

Like, maybe her and her kind are at war on her planet. The only reason the war started was because the Genii are helping the other side. They found out that the Genii are also helping the other side because of their tech with ships and so on.
Something like that. Give Atlantis a reason to help her.

A-plot is the injured woman and basically Rodney and Carson.
B-plot is Ronons memories, triggered by the strange newcomer.

Lets take it from the top!

1. first off, the alien girl that arrives was sent to find help. But when her ship was damaged, she got injured, maybe a head injury? Thus the asking iof where she is, once she is told where she is she gioves why she went there.
2. Yes, her world is at war, and her people are on the brink of total, well, i'd say anilation, but I'd think Amargeddon is better
3. The device Rodney found was actually a maping device. The ship itself is sending out the destriss signal.
4. When the map device is destroyed the wmaon goes into cardiac arrest, but Carson manages to stablize er, Woosley and her talk.
5. Rodney and Radk set up camp around the ship (like you had suggested it actually was in my mind.)
6. By what I meant of talking of earth and the like, I mean the two of them talking of how they spent their time on Earth when Atlantis was there (EatG)
7. I'm thinking that a single ship similar to the Wraith escort craft arrives, but more weapons/shields due to the signal that Rodney is trying to turn off (can't figure out why it is going and can't find "off" switch)
8. The alien girls people are at war with another group, however there is a third group caught in the middle of the two factions fighting. The womans group, or rather, her faction is lossing and sent her for help. Then one of their enemies damages her ship, thus dropping her out of hyperspace too soon. She lands at Atlantis, and her ship though damaged sends out a signal for help, which is then intercepted by her peoples enemy. (which John then destroyes from the control chair)
9. the woman explains of why she is there, that she was sent to get help. and explains of what is going on. The Genii are involved in getting the third race weapons to keep them alove, but her race has bee nthe target of now three factions, at first it was just one, now it is three. the Genii are one of those three, even though they supplied weapons to the womans people. Who perfer something more of magic.

And since this is the Pegasus Galaxy, any thing can happen, for al lwe know there is a planet over there called Faerun. a D&D game world.

My suggestion is to post it on the JT VS6 under the "Future episode" posts and see if it takes off.
