Teyla and Ronan appeared one more time in the very last scene and weren't used much other then that. I guess JM and PM couldn't think of anything better to do with them.

At the very least Keller was only in one scene and I would call this episode way better then Tracker.

Next week's episode looks like it will be one worth watching only once since it's Earth based and no Teyla and Ronan from the looks of the preview. If the latter is true then I guess Martin Gero couldn't think of anything better to do with them but I hope there's B plot.

I'm afraid to tell you but JM and PM never have much for Teyla or Ronon to do....I'm beginning to believe that the only folks that even like Teyla these days is Carl and Alan because they are the only one's that seem to want to write her into eps...Everyone else doesn't even want her there

Gotta say coming out of it I'm a little dissapointed. Yeah, the whump was great and I did love the scene with Shep torturing himself yadayada, but it was just exactly what I expected, the whole ep was. I should totally have stuck with my spoilerfreeness But then actually seeing those pics was possibly more enjoyable than the ep .

The only bit that did catch me off guard was Zelenka being a hallucination, I clogged on just before Rodney so it was fun watching him figure it out

And I wasn't keen on the beginning.

Once again, such underuse of Teyla and Ronon, it's almost not worth being a fan of those characters, you get let down in so many episodes. Not that there was room for them though, I agree with what others have said, the editing felt choppy.

Overall, I enjoyed the whump and found the Woolsey bits intriguing but there just seemed no substance to it. Another dissapointing use of Kolya. The ep could and should have been better IMO

When is the next ep? And I'm not counting Brain Storm *shakes head* doesn't exist.

Ain't that the truth...Yeah it's hard being a Teyla fan but i'll stick with it till the bitter end mainly because Rachel deserves to be treated so much better than she has done by the numbskull that calls himself showrunner

I found the episode disappointing on many levels and it was the last opportunuity for the writers to delve into the psyche of Sheppard but predictably they chose not to. I do love Woolsey but there was too much time here dedicated to him and his love life. Rodney was arrogant and annoying throughout the ep just when I started to like him again.

Teyla was eating with her team and once again sat next to John.... Kanaan as usual notwhere in sight.. very strange relationship she has... Teyla still spends her downtime with John and the team.... and I wonder why Teyla was bothered that Shep was off chasing tail... JM still loves to write Shep as someome who can't seem to get a girl without the pretense of escorting them somewhere...

You know I think I can't be depressed anymore on SGA I was a lot and it always hurts when I think of this show and the great John and Teyla chemistry. But I'm not waiting anymore for SGA I think I haven't seen at least 4 eps this season and this isn't finished. I'm angry because SGA replaced SG1 in my heart and I'm really disappointed. finally SGA will never be at SG level IMO. Besides I'm angry at the writers because they had great ideas, oppportunities and I don't believe tat the cast change create a problem but the problem too much characters ill explored (while we know they can do better like for the Prodigal) and a complete disparition of all trace of team feeling.
When was the last great or interesting scene with the 4 of them even the 5 if they want, thelast scene where Sheppard share a scene with Ronon or teyla even Rodney. If Rodney doesn't share a scene with someone so there is no team. Ronon totally diapeared from screen I can't remember when he is in one ep or no and he didn't appear to me lke a character anymore but a presence without friendship at all and honnestly it's the same for John he didn't do new things IMO.
So once again I'm glad from what we had with Rachel she was the best she had a lot to act and when she was in an ep her scenes were great.
now she missed some eps and I agree that as a Teyla fan I can ay SGA is probably finished for me as a JT fan it finished a long time ago.
I really don't understand why they cut what make the show because for me Teyla and the John Teyla relationship made the show. I never watched SG1 for a relationship but I watched SGA for seeing the growth of John Teyla relationship it was sadly one of the only constance of the showexcept Rodney.
Now the only thing left is probably Rodney because I don't know if I can call again this show McShep as said JM it's a ship who will never be on screen and for the John Teyla relationship I think it disappeared.
I can't understand what happened to the authors and I really ask myself if they didn't want to end it finally because it's really too odd.

Finally I don't want to turn off the expectation of someone on an LJ so I won't say who it is but I found it really interesting and I don't know (and she said it but didn't affirm it) do you think there was political problem on the show for example between JF and RL. It's true that we always had great chemistry between the 2 of them even when the scene weren't shippy so I ask myself what happened ? Perhaps it wasn't political but a thing between the actor I can't understand why the author take such a risk while the team John and Teyla or even McShep were the POINT to watch SGA ?

Yeah for the authors i don't know but the best season was probably the 3rd particularly the 2nd half and they gave us extraordinary eps they could do it, they knew how to do it, theyknew what we wanted because besides they had the experience of SG1. Besides for JT they started really hard and from what they said a the convention even if it wasn't possible from teyla pov (if they wanted they could give usa solution) we saw nothing from JT while they said it would be explored so it wasn't a confirmation but an exploration and what do we had absolutely nothing at all. I'm really angry either something happene behind the show either it happened something I really can't understand this turn of events. it's even possible that there was JT scenes if it was explored and they cut all. By doing things this way they cut all even for a movie. It's true it's like they aren't even friends anymore how is this possible ? It's totally a change which had nothing for the show. Evene if they didn't want JT they couldnt deny their friendship.
But it's the same for all Ronon has friends anymore ? the reason of the show the core team is in the center of this pic of EatG and is totally true after a friendship stronger than the death they finish all alone all the 3 separated and the weakest link like I read it finally is the better by letting down his team at least he finds someone.
I'm disgusted as I said it's not only for teyla, for John and Teyla but for the team it's really too bad.
