Mine is kinda stuck, Jack (my fanfic muse) has somehow gotten bit by the martial arts theme and so I'm writing a (formerly three page) story called, new Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; What If.... and so far Jack has reduced the story to a major bloodfest...

"Ok, Rodney. Take a deep breath and explain to me what is going on," Elizabeth demands.

"No time to explain. We need to get Lorne and his men to come with me immediately," Rodney frantically replies.

Elizabeth radios Lorne to assemble his team and to meet at the gate as soon as soon as possible. She turns he attention back on Rodney. She momentarily watches him as he paces back and forth in the gate room still panic stricken.

"Rodney, I need to know what happened. It may be a little time before Major Lorne can get ready," she tries to say calmly.

"Oh, no, no, no," Rodney begins to stutter. "We need to get there now! Who knows if Sheppard is still alive or if there is any more of those creatures out there!"

"Slow down, Rodney, you're not making any sense? What do you mean creatures and what happened to John?" Elizabeth asks with a firm tone.

"It... it happened so quickly. It was getting dark and we were planning on heading back to the gate. We heard noises in the trees and as we were getting closer to investigate it..." Rodney pauses. "Some thing took John, we tried to catch it, but it went over a cliff before we had a chance. Then Teyla suggested that I go to the gate and get help. I started sneezing and then it came after me."

Lorne and his men enter the gate room, Chuck dials the gate and they get ready to leave.

"Oh, and Teyla thinks it might be attracted to those with the ATA genes! Ronon called it the Red Beast." Rodney shouts out just before entering the event horizon.
