Well, about the name thing...

Waaaay back in the day there was an episode of X-Files that came on. There was a character called the Stupendous Yappi--popped on that night with my new shiny name, YappiGirl. About a year later, I changed it to YappiChick (it sounds sooo much more Californian to me, LOL) and the name stuck. That was 11 years ago.

Now everything I do is under YappiChick. People assume the name came from me being chatty which works too.

I'm sure most of you know, my name is Jess. So fell free to call me that...or Yappi...or YC...or my favorite...The Boss. LOL

It would do people well to remember that this is the shep and teyla discussion thread.

And those that like shep and teyla, well they might like/dislike about anything else.

to use keller as an example, if you dislike her, fine, but perhaps you could respect your fellow shep/teyla shippers that might like her enough to tone down your arguments against the character please.

On the other hand, those that like Keller, well anywhere outside a pro keller thread you could be exposed to anti-keller remarks. Accept that. And, if you can simply not read the posts of those that don't like her, or put those people on ignore so you don't have to read their posts.

Into any discussion, a little OT will fall. HOWEVER, since this is the shep and teyla discussion thread, most of the posts in here should be about this pairing, not the other characters. So if you feel the need to go in depth about something else, please take it to the appropriate thread.
