Mr. Camy just watched the recent episode of SGU and it urks me....

That when Rachel got pregnant, they wouldn't do John and Teyla because of Joe's main character but for SGU

Spoiler:

they are not just putting two main characters together, but now they've incorporated the pregnancy of Tamara into the plot and the daddy is cheating with the woman who's carrying his child. Again, I don't watch the show but that's what Mr. Camy mentioned. Now, I'm not holding anything against the cast, but I am against the writers and producers.

John and Teyla made a heck of a lot more sense than those two. *grrr*

They have TJ pregnant and have not said who the father is, but it is pretty obvious that it is a superior and a married man. Just really ticks me off that they felt they could not make John the father of Teyla's baby because it was not proper. People wouldn't accept it so they had to create the invisible father.
But yet on here on the other show, we have people having sex while in other peoples bodies (which in the case of those stones, I just can't stand) or just hooking up randomly. It's like a complete 180 degree turn. John and Teyla definately made more sense. They knew each other for 5 years for crying out loud and were so blatantly attracted to one another, that it would have made sense. Aslo, they were not just attracted to each other, they were soul mates. They had so much history together and would have been perfect together!

Do you have the box set for the entire series for region 1 because I know it's on the on bonus disc that came with that. It's a shame that that didn't include that with the region 1 season 5 set but then for the DVD company that does the dvds it all about the money.

Sheppard's season 5 outfit is something I finished making last week so if you think the flag patch is a little too big then let me know and I can fix it. I should note that I had to copy and paste the sims together to make it look like they where doing the same pose at the same time.

I know you weren't expecting all these issues w/ taking over the VS, but just remember that I'm not going to be able to write any VS episode in about a month. Things here are too crazy (my sister's uni grad, the girls out on summer break, a vacation, a half dozen birthdays, etc.) to commit to anything past that. So based on the posting schedule (even if an episode got posted every two weeks and one started next week), I don't think I'm going to be able to write episode 12...

Sorry about not having time, but I've known about my time restraints for a while...

The schedule's not completely set up right now. I still haven't heard whose doing what eps- I don't have a full list of writers- & I'm not going to make a proper schedule until I have all the info.

How about I PM you to double check when we figure out an approximate date for Ep 12, & you can decide then?

Seems like everything TPTB refused to do with SG1 & SGA (I mean Sam-Jack, John-Teyla) seems to be perfectly fine in SGEwwwwww!

Well said Rockhound.... there was absolutely no reason that John couldnt have been the father. They'd known each other for 4 years and both were single, so what was wrong about them being together and having a child. They were quite happy for Rodney to have a child but not John. I think they were quite happy to turn John into the sad lonely figure who despite saying he wanted a family in the early seasons seems to be incapble now of any emotional attachements. Sheppard wasn't the favourite child amongst the writers and I think this showed in their writing decisions for him. We could have learned so much more about John and Teyla through them becoming parents, this was a perfect way for Brad Wright to bring more character focus into SGA. But realistic relationships were something that just wasnt allowed to happen on SGA...

Unfortunately Death Game has been delayed until September. Many of the SGA novels have been delayed due to the mess that MGM are in but hopefully the back log seems to be getting sorted and fingers crossed the delay won't be longer than September.

So far the Legacy Series is still on for October...

Yeah, it´s a bonus disc for the complete series, for both regions I guess. Of course, not all the specials always makes it onto both packages. But this one, I believe, did. After all, they must give a good reason to buy everything a second time right?

Said it before and still think so. Michael´s obsession with Teyla´s child would have been much more understandable if the child were John and Teyla´s.

Human/Wraith gene (Teyla) + Human/Ancestor gene (John) = (their child) key to all things Wraith, human and Ancestor technology. Plus it would have explained why he and his goonies could suddenly control a jumper (if he indeed collected some of the child´s DNA and used it for some stuff already. Now THAT kid WOULD be an instrument of change.

Instead we got:

Human/Wraith (Teyla)+Human/Wraith gene (Kanaan)= (Torren John) Human/Wraith gene child.

WTF??

Ok, you see where I´m going with this? LOL. Just don´t see the big deal about this kid in Michael´s great plan for change. He already had humans with Wraith DNA. Lots of them, apparently. But maybe that´s me.
