Challenge #43

This weeks challenge is not about people, it's about things, specifically, inanimate objects. Two excellent examples are the stargate and the tardis. No people this week, just focus on objects. Have fun!

Got back today from bringing my daughter to college in NY. Very hard to say goodbye. Moved her in on Saturday and yesterday she already wanted to see us. We were still in town so we went and took her out to dinner. I was surprisingly very strong, didn't lose it until the car pulled away. I just want her to enjoy, meet new people, make new friends, learn a lot and be happy!

Love all the pretty artwork! As far as The Brotherhood goes, I really liked that episode. I just love the team together and the banter back and forth, even when they are facing what appears to be great danger!
I loved John, Teyla and Ford teasing Rodney about the woman having a crush on him (can't remember her name) and that he had no clue. I loved the whole scene with John figuring out the math and the grenade plot. Very sad about Markham though... I liked him. Love seeing Teyla and Ford kick butt!

Hi everyone. I got back from vacationing yesterday. Had a great time visiting my parents and AT's parents!

I love it when they get to spend time with the baby. I wish we all lived closer all the time. My parents split their time between East and West coast but AT's parents are west coast. I love going to Cali!

I took the time to watch Brotherhood after I put baby girl to bed. I really enjoyed this episode. It's the team interaction and the playful banter. John is so smart and I enjoy when his brains show. It's ironic when Rodney was so clueless in the social area. Ford got to show his skills. Kolia gets under my skin. He is absolutely ruthless.

It was good to get a chance to watch again. Now I have to get back in schedule so I can work on art and my fanfic. I need to re-read the last bits I wrote so I can pick up where I left off.

Thanks DJsGirl! I am very proud. Actually just face timed with her. It was second day of classes and she said she loves the classes from today.. English and Philosophy. Tomorrow is Organic Chemistry and Statistics. That's a tough day. She looked good and looked happy, which completely sets my mind at ease. (Her boyfriend is still here in Vegas, so I thought I would not see a happy face on the other end!) And you'd be surprised how fast that 17 years go!

Think I'll go read some JT fic..it's been a while.

I'm working on my fics, but having a hard time picking up where I left off. I find I want to skip the storyline/mushy parts and get right to the action adventure. It's usually the opposit for me. I think I'm going to go ahead and write the action bits then fill in the rest of the story.

Sorry I wasn't/haven't been around. Mom had a bit of an emergency. Actually she had her second heart surgery in 1 week. Hubby packed my laptop, but I won't be able to get on often.
