RR is a Round Robin fic. We create a plot for a story and then various writers take turns to write a couple paragraph or more at a time. Then we go a couple rounds or more til the story is done. Check one out and see what you think.

I must admit that while I like John and Teyla together.. I'm not really a fan of her. Does that make sense??

No, I understand. I love them as a couple, but I have to admit that I'm more of a Shep fan as an individual character than any of the characters on SGA. I like them all in different ways.

Yeah. I like Rodney for his relationship with John. I like Ronon all around but he's always been a silent figure in the show. I like Teyla for her relationship with John. But over all I'm a John fan. I read part of the RR for John's side.

Yes.. I feel pretty much the same. Unfortunately for Ronon... and Teyla they didn't write enough dialogue for them. In my opinion they were underdevloped.

I think that in general all of the characters were underdeveloped. Even with the massive face time some of them got. It drives me crazy that Shep barely has a backstory and that, apparently, Joe himself had to come up with it.

Yeah... more backstory would've been great. I know we've seen glimpses, but still. So sad that Joe had to do that, but I guess his idea of Sheppard was not the same as the writers. If I remember correctly... he didn't see Sheppard as the son of a rich guy.

Hello my lovely JT FAMILY!! It's been forever!

Do any of have the links to some of the older RR fics that Yappi had on the old Yahoo page that is now defunct?

I had a friend of mine who is interested in reading them. I don't have them on this computer. Nor the old one since we had it completely crash a while back.

It's the ones that I Elfie (me, can you believe it), MrsB, Sci, Gator, Cazz, and Everlovin' ( I think), and Ruby all took part in. I can't remember everyone. But, one was about Micheal, John, and Teyla. And, based on one the prompts of Dripping, Dripping, Dripping. MrsB was in her detailed kinda graphic mode. It was nice! Funny, how I tend like the whumpier stuff for some reason! LOL!

If it's the one I worked on back in 08, then I have a hard copy of it but I don't know the link. It was lots of fun writing for that one.

As to the current rr? Ever's working on it! Patience!

So in the JS whump thread we're talking about our fave emo whump scenes and I just wanted to see if you JS/TE fans agreed with me.

I felt that it hurt John when Teyla told him that she was not only pregnant but that she'd known for months and that there was more to it than just him putting her and her unborn child in dangerous situations.. Was it just me though?

That was probably the biggest emo whump there was.

Also, them talking about missing Carson at the end of Sunday.
