I don't remember if it was John and Teyla's son or not. I think I read it on FF.net, but I could be wrong because I scanned some of the J/T stories and none of them look familiar.

Oh! But I think I remember there being a part where John is in the control chair "communicating" with Teyla...I don't know if that helps narrow it down, or just makes it more confusing! SORRY!

I wish I had more information to help narrow it down, but I've given up understanding how my brain decides what it will and won't remember .....SORRY!!

Hello everyone,

Let me start by apologizing because I pretty much never post on this thread and I feel like I'm using you guys, but I need your help.

I am trying to find a John/Teyla fic I read a while ago (read: years ago) where Teyla somehow becomes the City. Also, it may have been a futurefic where John's son was on Atlantis. If that doesn't sound familiar or if I'm describing two separate fics (or if I'm describing one actual fic and a dream I had), then you should know it's entirely possible that I'm getting confused and/or going crazy (I've read A LOT of John/Teyla fic!!)

Just a quick flybypost to say HI and that I'm still alive. I'll try to come back soon. My PC is still down and I'm still using hubby's laptop. Bummed that I can't use PC to do GIMP and I started a couple fics, but haven't gone too far... lost my muse.... so I gotta find it again. *sigh*

Had tons of snow in our area, but some nice days gave us some meltage. Othewise... things have been good.

I've read a couple of Wedjetqi's fics on ff.net, but I just saw that there are SO MANY more I've missed...and no, I haven't read any of the MGM books. I usually only read fanfic, but maybe it's time I expand to the books. Thanks for the recommendations! I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend!

I think everyone seems to be swamped with real life stuff at the moment. I know I am. I havn't even had the time to do much reading. There have been some good JT fics around I've rec'd some a few pages back. I'm also half way through Homecoming and its pretty good so far. I really like how John and Teyla are being handled. I hope to have time in a few weeks to actually join in on all the discussions.

Still no news on any SGA movie and it seems doubtful that we will ever get one but I'm not really interested in anything these present writers give us to be honest. I'm happy to have the books.

How have things been with you.

I'm really glad you're enjoying Homecoming. That is a happy-making thing!

I don't think there's going to be a movie. Seriously. I don't think it's going to happen, but that's probably a good thing.

I'm good! Really really busy, because I have a deadline in March that I bit off more than I could chew to try to make two deadlines this close together. So now I'm working my typey fingers to the bone!
