Last year was my first John and Teyla Secret Elf Beya Exchange and trust me when I write that I was about to give up on this fandom when this idea occurred to me and it was such a great turn out that it brought me and this fandom for me back to life. I hope it does the same to you this year, but I cannot do it alone.

This year, we will start with presents on Sunday, November 28th through Sunday, December 26, 2010. By signing up, you are committing to an exchange of five presents to your elf. The idea is that you will not reveal who you are to your elf until Sunday, December 26th with an extended date of Friday, December 31st.

It's very simple. Starting Sunday November 28th, I will post an entry with all the presents. The first 4 Sundays will be simple presents... for example, John and Teyla caps, Favorite Moments Dialogues, Favorite Fic Recommendation, Motivational Posters, small drabble, John and Teyla Trivia game,etc... anything that doesn't require too much time and that's simple. You can be as creative as you'd like. There are no limits and the imagination is all yours. Only requirement is that, of course, it has to be John and Teyla. But on Sunday, December 26, you will submit the best work you can produce via either a video, an artwork or a fic.

The dates that I will submit entries with all the pressies are as follows:

November 28th, December 5th, December 12th, December 19th.

These are the dates for simple presents. You will send those to me either via email or in a screened comment entry that I will post. You will have several days to submit your entry to me before I post on one of the dates above. Every Monday, starting on November 22nd I will make an entry reminding you that you have 4-5 days to submit your small present to me and in that entry you will submit your present or as stated above, in an email. So for example, on Monday, November 22nd I will make the first entry and you will have until November 27th to comment in that entry with your present to your elf. On Sunday, November 29th I will make a new entry reminding you of the second present and you will make your screened entry in that entry and so on.

The dates for each of these Mondays and the deadline for each entry is as follow:

1st Present- Monday, November, 22nd-Sunday, November 28th
2nd Present-Monday, November 29th-Sunday, December 5th
3rd Present-Monday, December 6th-Sunday, December 12th and
4th present Monday,December 13th-Sunday, December 19th

5th Last Present and Secret Elf Revelation and Official Entry: Sunday, December 26th-December 31st.

Once again, the official dates of revelation where the SECRET ELF will reveal itself will be from Sunday, December 26th-December 31st.

This gives everyone plenty of time to submit their entries.

If you are not a member of LJ or Beya, you can post anonymous, just make sure you post your name so that I know who you are.

If for some reason you cannot post on these dates, you can email me and I will cover for you.

To BEGIN, All you need to do is fill out the prompt in the entry from Beya in the link at the bottom of this entry.

I will match as much as possible based on your answers of what you like to receive and what you can do. You will receive an email with your elf on Friday, November 5th. You have 23 days to get ready for your first submission and 51 days to your last and final present. Plenty of time for all of you to work on your gifts before the holidays!

ONLY THING THAT I'm REQUIRING:

No THREESOMES< NO SLASH ONLY JOHN AND TEYLA CENTRIC PRESENT

Final presents rules:

All those submitting fics. Word count can be no less than 1,000 words.
Artwork for final present has to be a set of wallpapers or an entire 12 month individual calendars, a set of wallpaper-banner-signatures-icons....Again, remember that your final present has to be WOWSA!!!!! Something that you really took time to make and effort and be creative and surprise us all!!! Lastly, ALL WORKS have to be ORIGINALS! Especially the last one. Last year I allowed to post fic recs and vid recs...but this year, I'm going to request that all works be originals. Only if you are posting good caps or something like that, or doing a picspam but otherwise, no fic recs or vid recs. Only do original works that have never been posted anywhere else.

I hope we get a lot of participants. I realize that there are a lot of other things happening in other comms but John and Teyla deserve their own party as well. So, I'm trying to keep it simple and convenient so that we can all participate.

No, there is to much, i'll sum up!

Nathional Novel Writing Month is just 28 days away my time (Beijing), I'm once again doing it this year, it runs from 1 November through 30 November. I'll also take up a poll for idea gathering if you guys want to partaking and help me out. As right now i have change ot make plot and get ready for the start time to begin writing. IF you guys want to do so, you may start compiling a list of ideas and/or prompts for me to try to add to the story in some way. The final result will be posted to ff.net on my profile there.

But please remember that when making the list, when I offically begin posting up my word count, no longer will I take in new prompts, the list has ot be ready and posted up by 31 Oct 12 noon Beijing Time (12 midnight Eastern time) It is like a numbered list, everyone asds to it as time goes on with a number before it!

Who knows, last year I passed the word target of 50,000 words by 18 thousand words, (68,808 words), the year before that I passed nu ten thousand words. and tjhe year before that i passed by 22 thousand words, the fuirst year I did it (2006) I fell short by three thousand words. Who knows, with you guys providing the ideas, and me writing the chracters with those ideas, I might as well have a 100,000 word story ready to read by all by christmas time!
