I have been keeping up with all your great work on LJ and FF.net and leaving FB (positive too)...so I hope that means something . You folks are carrying the torch in a great way. Loving the virtual 6 season eps....beyond awesome. The artwork and the other quality work that this fandom continues to create.

With that said I need some help. I want to do something for thread mommy but I need to access S4 & S5 clips. Do any of you know where I can DL the eps I need. I couldn't remember but I knew you all would.

Also, I was listening to 'Try' from Fame (the '09 version)- & suddenly had J/T moments flying through my head.
So I'm going (to attempt! lol) making a J/T vid to the song.
But I doubt I'll finish it...........lol. I always have fantastic ideas for vids, & just never get them done (lack of actual footage to use, I suppose).

That happenes to me too. I hear a song and think, "That would make an awesome JT video." But because I have NO clips what-so-ever I can't make a vid. The song "Over and Over" by Three Days Grace would make a perfect JT video. Do any of you know where to get JT clips? Or know a good ripper program?

Guys, a quick observation/question/feedback:

I opened the John and Teyla Haven Galleria because at one time we were doing so many parties in here and they were so successful that some complained about the caps and artwork and so on that was slowing the thread for those that had dial up. At first it was not taken too well by some, but it turned out that the additional thread was extremely successful and much fun.

Now, I know that things have slowed down since and I realize that you guys are keeping this thread alive and I'm so PROUD of all of you for doing this. *wipes tears* It's a dream come true for me, really!

Long story short, the John and Teyla Galleria is currently not been used as much. It actually only has a handful of members going and that's been slowing down too; including me. I'm just not as motivated and creative as I used to be. My motivation and inspiration was and always will be John and Teyla. I miss them too much! Plus, real life is hectic. But in reality, it's always been hectic, it's more about lack of inspiration.

In any case, I'm not sure if I should tell the mods to merge these two threads again or if I should just let the thread be.

It's ridiculous and a bit embarrasing that the last couple of postings have been made by me and it's kind of turned into the Camy/Jeyla4ever thread and that was never the intention.

So, your thoughts? Should I ask the mods to merge the thread? Or would you rather we come together and decide on what we should do in the thread as fandom? Parties, caps, competitions, challenges, MP's, Fanart, Picfics, etc....

I'm not asking for all of you to create things on a daily basis, but once in awhile and also to keep encouraging those that make artwork would be very nice.

You realize, I think, we are the only ship that has their own Haven Galleria. I know other ships tried, but failed! So, I personally would like to keep it but not if it's only going to be me and Lea, Donna, Padme, and the once in awhile usual lurker/poster.

The idea of that thread was to post only caps, artworks and anything with caps in that thread and to keep this thread cap and artwork free and only have discussions, and fics and stuff like that here. Hence the name Appreciation/Discussion thread- Galleria Haven Thread. I know it sounds like a lot especially when most of you do go and visit other threads, but if we can come up with an idea or a decision together, then perhaps we can make both or perhaps it would be best to just merge the threads.

I know that I go to the Graphic Arts thread and the Tutorial threads and post duplicates of my work in both the Galleria and the Graphic thread. It's worked for me so far, but that's just me. In any case, you let me know what works best for you and maybe we can come up with a decision together. I'd like that very much!

In any case, I'd very much like some thoughts and feedback and I won't hold it against anyone. If you'd rather PM me with your thoughts, that's fine too. We are all a family here and I hold all of you dearly even if we don't always agree or have the same thoughts.

I'd greatly appreciated.

If we merge the threads my computer lags liek heck and once it lost internet access. other times it made the other programs running on my computer at the time to stop working until the page had fully loaded, also the page took forever to laod, one of the reason I left the galleria thread because it dragged my computer down.

Thanx Cazz. It'd be much appreciated. Then I might actually make the JT video I have in mind and the SGA tribute video I was planning.


And to the merging thing. I'm not sure because by the time I actually became a fan of the show, it was over, and so for me I don't really know what it was like on the Galleria Haven thread before it became like a ghost-town (the way it is now). All I know is if it was anything or could be anything like the "Icons of SGA" thread then I would definitely go there more. I love the Icons of SGA thread, doing the ep challenges is a lot of fun. So if it became something like that, like have JT challenges or something then I would go there more.

Oh that reminds me, I'm going to share this with you guys. One of my three icons I made for Challenge 66: Vengeance (my first challenge ever entered) made third with 7 points.

1. Did you suss it out?

2. Why did the mist people put Teyla in Shep’s illusion?

3. Do you think TPTB purposefully did this for ship reasons or that Teyla just didn’t have any kind of personal connection to the other characters yet so it would have seemed out of place for her to be with them?

4. When do you think Shep first suspected it wasn’t the real Earth?
5. Did Teyla ever suspect?

6. What do you think Teyla thought of the whole experience? Do you think she considered it her first visit to Earth even though it was just an illusion? (we could have gotten the answer to this if we’d ever actually seen Teyla on the real Earth )

7. Why didn’t Shep share his suspicions with Teyla?

8. Any thoughts on the other illusions? Or were you too distracted by the Shep/Teyla one?

9. Do you think Shep and Teyla grew closer because of this ep? Teyla saw a part of Shep’s life that she’d never seen before, how did this affect their relationship?
