What were your ep ideas?

Finished That was good, more interesting than I remember, I like the Wraith and Pegasus Galaxy mythology to the ep

Question: For next week are we going with Underground or Home? I know it aired with Underground next but on the DVD's Home is next

Let's do it in the order that it aired.

How is the planning of the VS going?

No clue. Still need official confrimation to see if I'm writing an AU eppy.

So we'll go with Wedjatqi's Needs of the Body and Soul for the first fic club (I've got Contact saved for once we've finished this one Blue )

VS6 Episode names:

Since I'm doing Episode 8, I thought I'd start with that.

Ideas:
- Illuera [also the name of the Ancient in the ep]
- [whatever we decide on calling the Anti-Wraith device that's in it]

EDIT:
I'll need help with the ending of 8- there's the sub-story of the Med Review Board's decision over Keller. [I think we were talking about having it as a running sub-story???] So if we want consistency, I'll need to know the progression of that story over the previous episodes so I can write it in this episode.

Ok, it's time to take pitches for episode 18 of the VS6!

This is the episode where John and Teyla get together! But obviously that can't be the main focus of the plot

PREVIEW of chapter..... (I forget) titled, We Used to Dream, it is partly a songfic like chapter with the swong Ghost Love Score, each scene takes place between verses of the song. alternating between Shep and Teyla, like the Beyond the Night chapter....

John woke up to a knocking on his door. Getting up from the bed he looked around. 'Where am I? Oh right, Atlantis without Teyla, great, so its not a dream. Damnit all to hell.' John got up from the bed when the pounding at the door never stopped, and once opened he saw Rodeny, but noone else, "Rodney? What's going on?"

"Good to see you too." Rodney said, "mind if I come in?"

John stood to the side to allow Rodney in before looking down the hall in both directions before sealing his door with Rodney inside. "OK Rodney what is this about?"

"Your current state of life if you want to know" Rodney said looking at John, "Youl ook a wreck, did you try to strangle yourself again?" At Johns odd look Rodney waved a hand "forget I said that."

"You said what?" John said looking at Rodney, "Look, Rodney, don;t you have to bother Radek about something, I got a lot of my mind right now."
Rodney took one look at the nightstand, yeah sure Sheppard had a lot on his mind, loosing Teyla and then remembering everything over the past ten months. "You look terrible."

"Rodeny, I don't have time for this" John said going to the bed and sitting on it. "I heard it from Weir, from Jack, From everyone, I'm not going to go through it again."

Rodney looked to the door then back to John. "Kiro's worried." He moved to the door. "She's down the hall in guest quarters if you want to talk to her, I guess I'll be going then?" As he spoke Rodney watched John get up from the bed and go to the balconey, Rodeny followed still speaking then made to go before John spoke up in anger.

But instead John said simply. "Don't leave yet." Rodney went and joined Sheppard at the balconey rail and looked towards the sunrise. Sheppard had slept all night long, and just barely so. "I miss Teyla. She was my wife, i lost her once, and I promised myself I'd not lose her again, and look what happens." John said. Rodney only nodded, not saying anything, what could he say? "Everything in my life had been crappy ever since I became Air Force, Coming here I thought that would change and it did. I met a beautiful woman, got married, had one hell of a daughter with the same woman I promised myself I would never lose again." John shook his head. "Now she's gone."

"Yeah, life tends to screw things up for us doesn't it?" Rodney said before shutting up. bad choice of words. But when John said nothing Rodney continued. "I mean think about it, here we are, seven years in Atlantis, going to and from earth every few weeks to a month between trips. You're married to one of the best people I'd ever spoken with before. Not that Maffy is bad mind you. She's lovely...."

"Speaking of Maff, Harrisi" John spoke up his eyes on the clouds. "How are things between you and her?"

"Oh, uh... going well I guess" 'Is that all you can think of Rodney?' he wondered to himself.

"That's good. Is there a mission today?" John asked

"Last I remember yeah, why?" Rodeny asked as John moved to the bed and picked up something from it. Teyla's hairbrush. "You aren't thinking.... You are thinking" John had started to change. "You mean to go on them ission slated for Lornes Team? You were told to be off duty because of your depression, not to touch weapons until Jack said otherwise, so why go?"

"Rodney, I'm not going because of my depression and wanting to be out of Atlantis, I'm going because I'm going to meet someone we both have spoken too before the last time we lost Teyla." John said putting on his boots, placing a chain on the hairbrush and putting that around his nect under his combat vest. A hand lingered there and for a moment John felt another hand over his own, but shook it off. "Coming?" he asked Rodney who merely nodded.

"Lead the way" Rodney said John opened the door and took off for the gateroom. Without coffee too.

*recalls passing a post count milestone....*

PS: REMEMBER: in this book of the trilogy John has been promoted to General. Same rank as Landry in fact, Jack is one rank huigher, Hammond is now Chief of staff

Question: Will John know at the end of ep 17, that she chose him and not Mckay? Will that confirm how they feel for each other or will that come out in this ep?
Did someone say that John was meditating with Teyla? If so. I would say that he could develope some of his Ancient gifts. Maybe foresight?

Maybe he doesn't tell anyone of the "dreams" he's been having until he notices a pattern and sees something bad is going to happen to the team. Now he starts to second guess his decissions. Not realizing that there are times that it only makes it worse. Teyla eventually helps him to learn to except it and cope with it having a "gift".

I hadn't though abov whether shdp would find out teyla chose in ep 17 but as you say that'd be a good way for them to reveal their feelings so i can leave him not knowing It'd be good continuity.
I don't remember anything about meditating They did foresight with Jonas in SG1.

Ok. Do we ever find out what Todd had Carson do to Shep and if there was anything else he did withoug Carson's knowledge? I'm sure Carson would've done tests and stuff, right?

Sorry, missed this earlier I think Illuera would make a lovely ep name

IIRC the med review goes through eps 3 and 5 (then concludes in yours ), they're been written by Laura and Sci (LJ won't open for me at the mo to check )
