Urg! I wrote it all again and it still hasn't posted! It was about where jt would live after they retire, atlantis, earth or pegasus. I had resonings but i've already explained it twice and i can't be bothered to do it again

This is a great question. I'm not sure when or who would say it first. I think they both struggle with expressing their feelings. If it ever gets said by either one I would think it would be a confession to one of their teammates. Most likely Ronon, but who knows. And it would have to be because of dire(sp) reasons. Like John or Teyla on their death bed or something like that. Maybe John being missing for weeks or so. I know John was worried sick when Teyla was missing and in Kindred 1 at one point he said he couldn't eat. That's saying alot for a guy. IMO.

I love the thoughts that you and San are putting out there too. Great ideas.

I like the idea of Ronon too. They both seem to feel deeply towards him, and know it of each other.

Oh no!! That is really odd.
I honestly think that John would stay in the Pegasus. Even when he retires. He seems more comfortable with being in Atlantis and PG. He has both Ronon and Teyla with him as well. Earth would be way too boring to him.

I could see John saying it to Rodney too, but not Teyla to Rodney. Maybe Teyla would tell Jennifer.
Ronon is like Teal'c for Jack and Sam. He's the one that pointed out how he saw them in Sunday and despite the writers having him say the Kanaan comment in BAMSR, you could see on his face that he felt sorry for John when Teyla told them she was pregnant. IMO.

Tough one...I can't really imagine either of them saying it. Terrible, huh?

But, for the first time "I love you", I would have to say Teyla.

Oooh - this is a good one! Even though I don't think it would be easy for either of them to say it first, I think it would be John. I think the Athosian custom of the woman not making the first move would come into play here where she would wait for John to say it first (even tho she wants to). I don't think it would just come out though. There would be a stressful situation, such as impending death , serious injury to one, etc for it to come out. I think they are so used to covering up their feelings towards each other at this point that it would not come out easily.

I can see Ronan realizing that they need to stop wasting time and helping them along - he would be dropping hints to each of them.

Interesting question! But maybe John as things are not in his favour atm, and he has to do something to get Kanaan out of the way by expressing his true feelings. But maybe that's my personal hopes, and would it indeed make more sense if it were Teyla.

I can so see this. John is whumped, no help in sight, Teyla confesses all. Or maybe I can see it vice versa.

Also like the idea of them telling a friend first. Ronon, wonderful guy that he is, is an obvious choice. Remember too, that Rodney knows at least about John's feelings for Teyla. He heard over the intercom Thalen telling Teyla that John cares about her more than she knows.

Not sure who would say I love you first.... I think if it was a life or death situation both of them would say it under those circumstances...

I really think that both would have eventually said it... in fact I can see them finally both blurting it out at pretty much the same time...

Whilst sharing a quiet intimate dinner (such as in S&R) both revealing their feelings in the moment...

Had a long rough day of babysitting. My oldest even had to get a break and go to the store with is dad. Poor thing. He's very territorial and the little guys have no respect for other people's stuff and the oldest girl is Autistic(sp). Just a bit, but enough that she can be a handful.
