Movie news (not really news, just confirmation )

I wasn’t even aware of it until someone on my blog commented on the working title of the upcoming Stargate Atlantis movie! The news was broken on my dogs’ twitter page!

Anyway – yeah. Stargate Extinction. It’s the working title but I kind of like it because a) it’s story appropriate, b) a dynamic title, and most importantly c) not “Dark Gambit”.

Let the wild speculation begin!

hard to say with Atlantis being on Earth now... maybe the city brought a virus along that kills/threatens gene carriers, and only Pegasus can help... = Atlantis goes home.

Teyla and Ronon the only ones of the team not having the gene go on a rescue mission, Rodney suffers a little less than natural gene carrier Sheppard who still insists on coming along, lots of staggering, sweating, passing out, forcing himself up again, needing Teyla and Ronon to help keep him upright

I know what you mean. I see some of these new shows and I find myself saying, they need to give certain writers lessons in doing ships and so on.
As for last years mistake... I think they made up for it this year.

if the Ancients get involved because it's on Earth and it's not suppose to be there. Maybe that's where the threat of Extinction comes in or some failsafe that won't allow Altantis to stay on Earth too long and because of them being down ZPMs, they need to hurry to find a source of power to bring Atlantis home before is self destructs.
