Hey, a very productive day on the Atlantis script front. I completed an astounding 12 pages. Turns out the key to both creativity and productivity is to wake early, start writing, and not stop until dinner. I’m having an especially good time writing for one character in particular. But he was always tons of fun to write for back when we were producing the series. And, no, it’s not who you think.

We need to get a few things sorted for episode 7
What we have so far:
- The team visit a world that has a similar social structure the that of Sateda, i.e. it has a government and an army
- When leaving the planet (after unsuccessful talks??) they are accosted by the army
- Turns out the head of the unit holding the team is Ronon's younger sister
- She had a falling out with their father when she was younger and ran away from Sateda, Ronon only ever heard the story from his father's point of view so took his side and disowned his sister
- His sister only knew they were capturing a team from Atlantis she didn't know Ronon was there, she presumed he and the rest of her family had died on Sateda
- at some point Ronon cuts off his hair
Stuff still to decide
- What were the team on the planet for?
- Why have the army captured them?
- Ronon's sister's name
- What was it she fell out with their father over
- What happens after they realise who each other are? Do she carry on to arrest them and help them escape later? Or does she let them go there and then?
- What do Ronon and his sister bond over
- Would we want to see Ronon's sister again, after this episode? If so, in what capacity?

She fell in love with a non Satedan. ????
I think at first they are shocked of course, but start arguing about what was said or believed. I like the idea of her arresting them any way then saving later. Her heart is still probably hard and they are both mostly likely very stubborn.
Maybe she still asks what happened, since she thought they were all dead, and Ronon tells about the loss of Meriana(sp), his fellow soldiers, maybe the death of his mother too.
I'm not sure..... we could leave it open and have her stay behind to try to find out who's really after them. ???

Borrowing a bit from the Japanese Ronin, and extrapolating some. Also, Murika (one of his former teammates mentioned in Reunion) sounds like it could be Japanese. Hoshi, Tamaki, let me think some.- Why have the army captured them?

I can't see someone with a similar sense of honor as Ronon continuing an arrest of a family member. I'd think at the very least, she'd talk to the judge (magistrate), leader (chieftan) whoever and act as liason for the team.- What happens after they realise who each other are? For sure at some point. That was one place where SGA seriously fell short of SG-1. In the other show, we got to know the characters families while the team was still a family. In SGA, the only "outside" family member we really got to know was Jeannie. Some for Halling, but not enough Athosians or Satedans.- Would we want to see Ronon's sister again, after this episode? If so, in what capacity?
