The only 2 guests I would be interested in are Rachel and Amanda and they both appear on the saturday so I'm going to drive down just for the day. If you wanted to come over just for the saturday and go back on sunday you wouldnt need to take anytime off.. but it may prove expensive just for one day...

That really bugged me when I heard that about EatG Made, again, no sense continuity-wise. But hey, why do I even sound surprised?

But she was already involved with him and sleeping with him ..or so the writers lead us believe.. so why wasnt he mentioned earlier.. and why did Teyla seem more relaxed and caring around John than the so called man she was in an intimate relationship with... but the writers didnt really know their own charcters.. and this didnt only apply to Teyla... John and Ronon suffered from it as well... and as JF said in Bedford the writers clearly were not receptive to his criticisms anymore... he didnt like the route they took his character and I got the impression he was just tired of fighting for how his character should have been portrayed.. he told me at the signing that he would like a more light hearted role for his next project..

Yeah the writers would like us to believe that huh I mean really, do they really think we're stupid enough to swallow this load of crap *shakes head* Yeah I think Teyla suffered the most but John and Ronon weren't far behind....The only one's that got everything were their two favourite people, Rodney and Keller...I mean really, is it any surprise that the two favourite children get shipped together and they rip the one possible ship they've been developing for years apart!

I agree that picking Kanaan and handling it the way they did didnt do any favours for Teyla's character... but I think that was just an excuse about doing Sheppard's character a disservice with having him the father... they just didnt know how to handle it.... and at that stage didnt want anyone but Rodney to be involved in shipping... I think making John a Dad went against their vision of him being some lonely emotionally stunted hero, who only lived for putting his life on the line for eveyone else.... they wanted to keep John free so he could pant around the Larrin types... but seemingly they even put an end to that as well and wanted him to end up with no one at all.. another thing Joe wasn't happy with...

I have come to the comclusion they couldn't really care less about the Teyla character and they just flung anything in there to explain the pregnancy without a second thought on how this would look to the Teyla character, they only care about Rodney and Keller. They don't care about anyone else!

Rachel is the only cast member I havn't met yet so I am really looking forward to meeting her...

I really really wish I could but I can't afford it I'm only on a three day week at work the now so I have to watch what i'm doing, who knows if i'll even have a job in a few weeks

I actually liked her in Missing. It was Keller that was killing herself off to me ... so seeing Teyla annoyed with her (and with good reason!!) was pretty nice

Oh Keller was so annoying in Missing, all she done was whine the whole way through I woulddn't have blamed Teyla if she just let her fall off that bridge

I really like LFP because yes John and Teyla weren't always agreeing with each but I thought at the time that it added to what I perceived as being 'unresolved sexual tension' between the two. Plus it has one of my favourite moments between J/T when he asks her what more does she want from him and she replies with something like "Too much I fear". That line, coupled with the looks between them, helped cement even further for me, the relationship that had been developing between the two all throughout S1.

That's just my opinion though.

Oh if only we knew then what we know now I don't think I would have stuck with SGA if I knew it was gonna turn out the way it did!

AT's gonna be there too Damn....My other fave actress on SG If they done it in Scotland I would have more chance of going cause it would more than likely be Glasgow and it's only a 45 minute train ride and I have a friend who stays in Glasgow...Why can't they do it in Scotland for a change, why does Scotland always get missied out here....Don't these people realise than Scotland is not part of England, same with the so called music stars, Madonna doesn't do concerts here, neither does Enrique Iglesias and now I found out Anastacia isn't coming to Scotland for her so called "UK" tour, yeah 3 dates in England and 1 in Wales does not constitute a UK tour

Would have to check into that...however it might be a problem since I work every other sunday as well LOL... and if it falls on a week where I work sunday then well I'm in trouble..

The price...hrmm could maybe go... who knows have to check the prices... but then it is the problem of getting there from the airport...I hate taking public transport in other countries where I know I will just get lost... why couldn't it be like at the Expo..10 min ride with a taxi to the hotel and then the convention center right out the hotel window... lol...

Within half and hour IIRC, when I put mine in the first time it was rejected straight away cos I uploaded the jpeg instead of psd

Oh... I submitted one on friday and another on saturday and havnt heard a thing... if there was something wrong wouldnt they have let me know straight away.

It is? Cool.....I just checked, isn't MK like way down by London somewhere, I thought it was in the north of England. They should have come to the Glasgow collectormania at Braehead, I could have went to that one That's in August when I get my holiday (that's if I still have a job mind you)

I think I'm just going to go to MK and go visit Lynsey and maybe go to the Netherlands to see San instead of Chicago. I'd rather have memories like that than go to Chicago for four days.

I just hope my exams are done by then... the exam diet runs until the 12th of June...

I was just thinking that.... as you say there hasn't been any new submissions since friday... I did submit mine late on friday and the other one on saturday so maybe they only check them monday-friday.

I've thought long and hard about going to Chicago and was very tempted but I can't justify all that money just to see Joe for a few minutes for oneday... I mean he's not even there for the entire convention... If I had gotten a gold ticket I would have preferred to go to Vancouver.... then I could have seen my other fav guy Connor Trinneer and visited my sister at the same time,

But I'm looking forward to MK and can't wait to meet Amanda and Rachel and its' great meeting up with everyone again.. that's a big part of the fun of these conventions as well...
