Hi All -
I have to just talk about something here that's bothering me -
I have been visiting a few other threads of late and reading all this talk about why John is so dark and sulking in S4-S5. Also that in Vegas, John is the way he his because his field medic is supposed to be Weir. So many people seem to think its because Elizabeth is gone and I just want to bite my tongue and not spit out that it is because Teyla has had a baby with another man and that man is still in the picture and he is still so in love with her that that B]is why he is the way he is![/B] His S4-S5 dark, sulking side only showed up after Teyla was rescued from Michael. It really only surfaced when Kanaan
was returned to his former self and returned back to Atlantis that I really noticed a change in him, which was way after Elizabeth was gone. I mean if he was sulking about Weir, why the hell would we have the S&R dream??

I know hun that its hard and fustrating. They never said who the woman field medic was. It could also Nancy for all we know, but I agree with you that he's changed a bit. I personally wouldn't say it's dark, but yes, a bit withdrawn. I also agree that it's because of Teyla and that he doesn't have her. The dream says alot about how he feels about her and also the endless time he's risked his life for her.

They will continue to think what they want and it will be the same said about hun. I usually roll my eyes or laugh. They have the right to their opinion and we have ours. And eventhough we think we are in the right, you just gotta let them live in their fantasy.

I do it all the time.

I know you are right and it is frustrating. I know everyone has a right to their
own opinion but it is so so hard to hear something one way when we see it so clear another way. When I read some of this stuff, I just bite my lip not to respond and ignore it. It is really really hard!!! I guess that is why I am here and we are all in the J/T Family!!!

Take a look in the Sheppard threads (got to assume they know and talk about Sheppard the most

), theres no mention of Weir in there other than to dismiss her as a candidate for the field medic
