Another another bit! This time a flashback of the reason for the first paragraph....

Her words stung, but not as bad as John recalled from why he was there in China in the first place for a week. Woosley had sent him to Earth on a much needed vacation, John however had been looking up ways of getting back at his friends so called husband. A man he did not trust. So John looked up the Wu Dang, and soon as arriving on Earth, went straight to China for a week. And tomrrow he went back to Atlantis. But that was not what John was remembering, he was remembering his last words to Teyla before he left for his vacation.

“You do not trust Kanaan do you John?” Teyla had asked, she knew that both John and Kanaan never really did get along, yet worked with each other, sometimes tense enough to go after the other if provoked. “I do trust him, but, how can I trust someone I barely know? I trust you, and I trust your judgement, only, how do I trust him? I barely know him on my own like I know you” John replied. He hadn't meant to hurt Teylas feelings, nor did he intend to do so either. But sadly, Teyla had taken it as an insult as Kanaan appeared, and John had to act more formal rather then friendly. “I'm going to Earth for a week,... Woosley thinks it best for me to get away for a few days, visit family, that kinda thing.” John had said before turning he added, “see ya in a week.”

And left, leaving Teyla staring at his back as he left for the transporter to head for the gateroom. The door opened and John stepped in, after pressing his transporting location to go to he turned around, and for a scant few seconds Teyla saw something in his eyes. Sadness. But there was something else that she caught as well, anger. She started forwards to see of why, but by time she made it to the transporter John was at the control room heading home to Earth. Teyla did not know that Kanaan had watched him leave, a faint smile on his face. Teyla did not know that it was really his doing, making things go a way to split the two friends further apart

It gets better as the scens go on.

But first a little bit of information regarding Xiao, who she is and what she did/does for a living....

Alias: Poison Lady, Devil in the Purple Dress.
Colors (how to ID her in a group of people): purple/blue/black
Clothing style: Lose fitting meshlike cloth over her shoulders and arms (ends at wrists), dark blue breastplate armorlike cloth, black shash/belt. Light purple/pink Trisian design that goes along the edges/middle of the light purple faberic, black leggings under a dark purple/blue dresslike skirt.
hair color: black w/ sunbleached highlights of blonde ()kept in a controlled mess.
Hobby(s): Known to many as the Poison Lady due to her drinks that she makes and has used on her enemies. very good martial artist.
