Had maybe like 5 pages to catch up on ,,and sorry I'm really sorry but I felt like I've entered the doom and gloom thread...

Yes Whispers wasn't the best epi for me this season..still nothing has topped Seach & Rescue... but I didn't find it bad either as I thought it would be with an all girl team and then just John and Carson... but I didn't mind it and I really didn't think about the others not being there to be honest...

And about Rachel...so far I haven't seen her in to small in epis... she was on pretty much in Search & Rescue... she was pretty much of the epi in The Seed as well.. and then well basically in all in The Daedalus Variations,, and I'm sure I'm missing some epis in there... but hell I feel I've seen more of her this season so far then I did in the entire last season... and we are up for The Queen,, and wasn't it Prodigal as well...and what in the world was the name of one epi later on...uhm...oh never mind ...
but not knowing what is the reason for some stuff I'm not going to blame anyone either for what it might be the reason... yes she has a very young son when they started to shoot the season... and I can't find any fault in her wanting to be there for her son... we can't be either sure if she might have asked for a lighter schedule in the beginning of the season... and if I don't have any facts to anything I'm not going to point fingers at anyone,,since well to be honest we can't know if Rachel herself haven't asked for it.. I very well know that could be the case actually...same happened in most part of season 4 in CSI NY...Anna Belknap who plays Lindsay Monroe..she is main cast but had her baby daughter in the back half of season 3... was only gone for 4 epis...but had in most well..almost 12 -13 epis of season 4 very little scenes and wasn't that much on,,and when she was on it felt like she didn't do much then being a labrat in a scene here and there even though she is a cop/CSI,,,but the reason was there that Anna herself has asked for a lighter schedule to be able to be with her little daughter... for being there during her first year atleast..and the cast even there has there kids most times on set as well...

Besides who is to say that after Stargate they get anything better... I've heard of actors that has come of popular shows..or even cult shows that doesn't get crap afterwards and the only thing you then see them in is one crap movie after another that I wouldn't even waste my time watching... I don't think I've really heard Rachel complain.. she is an actress..knows how brutal this line of business is and I'm sure just as Joe that is away from his family like 5 days a week for a period of like 8 months,, they are just happy they have a steady job that will get them their income... how many pilots has Joe said he did before Atlantis...I think it was over 10 and he almost had lost hope to even get anything steady,,and thought it wasn't going to be any different when Atlantis came his way...

I have 13 episodes of this favorite show of mine left..and I sure as heck am going to enjoy every single moment of it... who is to say that I will ever get to see Joe or Rachel in anything good after this... even if I love them as talents as they are..I can't watch crap with them no matter how much I like them... I wont do that for no one...so I'm gonna take any moments I can get with them as long as I can,,,and I live in Sweden and here I haven't seen squat with them on TV except for Atlantis.. and it's taken me ages and so much time and energy to track down Joe's prior work,, and I don't know if I have the time of energy to keep doing it in the future...

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion... we all like different things... and I'm sure there are people in here thinking well I can't complain since my favorite is John.. but I love Teyla almost as much... just that yes John has an edge for me.. but even he is the main lead he doesn't get truly juicy stuff to work with..any fantastic spectacular awesome character piece.. then only fans I guess who can truly walk away from this show getting pretty much everything they have asked for or wanted is McKay fans... sorry to say...but I will take whatever I can get with John and Teyla ..since the little or characterless things they get thrown their way..it's their talent that shows off and makes the little there is more great than anything major big juicy things they do throw at McKay... but as I said this is only my opinion...

The good news is, Hurricane Ike is not going to effect Li and myself when we go to the airport for Bejing on monday, the sad news is, Li wont be returning with me to the US of A until the second week of next month, meaning five weeks of no training *is sad*

Did you know that there is an LJ set up for a virtual S6, I haven't checked it out but it sounds like people writing their own eps, I think it was set up by Stealth Dragon.
