Here is an update to A Wish Yet To Come.

As usual new stuff after the line and any mistakes are mine.

This all there is right now with this fan fiction because I was trouble deciding what they will have for their picnic like anniversary dinner but I just figured it out as typed this.

One quick question: Is there section of the mess hall where people can eat outside I thought there might have been in The Gift but I'm not sure?

Please don't take this as a criticism, but would it be possible to use an image/cap slightly before or after that one. It's just that the image (not the kiss per se) isn't a good one - Shep is grabbing her arms, pinning her against the wall, and her hands are splayed open, almost in shock. I've never studied those caps, and I'm sure you're not the first to use them, it's just that the image looks somewhat less than consensual. I know that wasn't the intention of the writer - if you listen to the commentary, writer & editor MG was disappointed how that turned out ("it was meant to be hot"). They did a number of different takes, including one where she jumped backwards afterwards. Its unfortunate that they chose to use the particular sequence of shots that they did - had her hands been in a different position it would have looked considerably different.

Maybe that just bothered me coz I just read an OOC fic (for both characters) where Shep practically raped Weir (it was quite disturbing). It's not a criticism of your pics, and not a criticism of the ship (I'm not silly, I know thats the direction of the show). But TPTB don't do kisses well - my sparky's kiss when neither of them is controlling their bodies (so its not even them), and sheyla kiss somewhat compromisingly. Ughh. Why do it if they don't mean it?

EDIT: not to mention S/J in Grace, when Carter has a serious head injury. Seriously PTB, that much UST is not helpful for anyone, regardless of which galaxy they're in. It's not healthy to pine for someone indefinitely.

All good things....

I’m writing to end the depressing stream of messages I’ve acquired in my
inbox in the last week since the announcement that SGA is indeed canceled. Yes,
we’re a little disappointed that we won’t be seeing each other on a regular
basis anymore, or eating Steve’s famous “crack sandwiches” every morning (I
must now enter baconcheesymayo- y goodness rehab). But at the same time, the SGA
characters are in no way, shape, or form deceased. This franchise is a
strong one, and you can bet they’re not putting SGA to bed yet; I’ve heard
buzzings of DVD movies as well as crossover appearances on Stargate: Universe, so
rest assured that it ain’t over. This just means more opportunities to invade
other franchises and time to play other characters, and I’m quite excited to be “
on the market” again. I have no idea what’s in store for me, since I’m tied
up for another month with Atlantis, but I’ll be sure to let you know when I
do decide on my next project. As for being “cursed”… not exactly the thing an
actress needs to hear, like, Ever. Besides, being truly cursed would have
been having the show canceled last year, not this year… and I don’t believe in
curses. I believe in working on fantastic projects with great people, and I’
ve been blessed to work on many, and will continue to do so if you keep
watching!

So spread the word: life goes on for us actors. We’re used to this.

I’ll be taking the red eye to Atlanta for Dragon*Con Friday night, since I’
ll be filming during the day, and I may have last night’s make-up on and a
giant latte in my clutches, but I’ll get there somehow! More of a real blog when
I return, complete with new pics from D*C.

P.S. and thanks. I know you’re rooting for me.

Does this mean I might have to tune into Universe at some point *lol*

Hi everybody !

Well i've been disappointed on so many occasions with news about "great" things for Teyla so I'm taking this with a barrow full of salt....

Want proof of disappointment.....Well two words for you.......



SEASON FOUR

Yeah I know but you know that I like S4 Teyla thanks to S4 became IMO the most developed character we didn't see her a lot but the authors try their best to include her what was new and she was really interesting. It wasn't erfect but i'm glad with what they did Teyla gain a lot in this Rachel had a chance to play different things and it was awesome IMO Besides it really gives me hope you know i think I was so disappointed with the cancellation of SGA that I didn't care I was so deceived this and the fact that we didn't even have Teyla in The Shrine I was 'meh' (Is it this ?)

but this give me hope because it means that we don't know all for S5 because I really can't see where it can take place. It gives again great storyline for teyla and once agin I'm exited about the future of the serie apparently there wn't have only Keller and McKay.
Besides it could perhaps give us hope for us JT imagine the change of things if he is so powerful and all did Kanaan will stay on the picture, perhaps it will be time too to have once again nice JT moments when time will need to discuss and with chance she will go to Shep. Ok ok wishful thinking but it gives me hope for Teyla they didn't forget it and even if once again her story is here only thanks to the baby I take what we have and we have The Queen

So, I am wondering if it is minutely possible....

A very, very powerful being. Interesting. So, we know that the baby has the doses of the of the gene from Teyla and Kanaan so, does that mean that whatever Mikey was injecting Torren come into play in Prodigal? You know it has to. Why else would she state that he is a very, very powerful being. It's not just because he has the dna from both of them.

So, more than one evil folk. Let's see the Wraith and Mikey, huh? Now, it would be interesting if maybe Todd wants a piece of the pie too!

Who knows at this point? We know that they are probably not going to tie the loose ends of the story line before the series finale. Now, since, it has been canceled, I doubt that they will carry this storyline into the movie. But, maybe if they do, they spin just ever so slightly to where pendulum swings the JT way!

Is that asking for too much of the writers? I so do not think so! Sheesh! They've practically pushed the McKeller in our faces. You know, I don't think I would be so bitter about the McKeller thing if they would actually pay attention to what they actually say! They have said many times that there isn't going to be any relationships between regular cast members or whatever. But, they blew that out of the water with the whole McKeller thing!

Yeah for your first paragraph besides it could mean continuity of all the story that we let in S4 as the needdle and the baby ? yeah I really hope there is more than Michael it could too finally tied all of the team to the vilains I mean Kolya was Shep villain and didn't care for anybody else. I miss a villain that all the team as a thing against I know I'm probably odd but it's well know that to gain somehing you have to torture somebody else, it proves to the force of their friendship (I only speak for the serie lol)
ITA about the McKeller thing you know I was for it but that they let us down like this to focus on the McKeller after what they said I'm really disappointed I never watch SGA for the ship even the JT but it means that I don't want put in my face like this a ship that is so forced in comparison to JT and the long progression

Back from the Chicago con! Happy Birthday GNB, hopefully I can get you some presents in the near future. At the moment people will want con pics, but after that, I'll get to it. Did I miss another B-day?

All good things....

I wasn't on GW when that aired, so missed all the fuss re that kiss (both for and against). To be honest, I never paid that much attention to it upon viewing - it is after all only a kiss, and I never thought for a second that they intended it to play as a violation. But after coming on GW, I can see why people find it offensive, based on the actors positions and actions. I think if Rachels hands weren't in the position they are in it may not be an issue.

In the commentary (FH has the text somewhere, but i'm not that technologically minded), MG mentions that it turned out differently than he'd intended for that reason (because, depending on one's interpretation, she looks uneasy), and that it was his intention for it to look "hot". JF makes a comment that she has that "stop it, some more" look. And at the end of the day, she could have knee'd him in the groin if she was that upset by it.

Here is an update to A Wish Yet To Come.

As usual new stuff after the line and any mistakes are mine.

This all there is right now with this fan fiction because I was trouble deciding what they will have for their picnic like anniversary dinner but I just figured it out as typed this.

One quick question: Is there section of the mess hall where people can eat outside I thought there might have been in The Gift but I'm not sure?

I'm not sure if there will be any of her in Whispers ,but we have The Queen, which is obvious, and I'm not sure about Tracker either.

But there's; First Contact, The Lost Tribe, Inquistion, since it's about the team, most likely Outsiders and Prodical.

I'm not sure how much with the rest of the season, but I'm sure there'll be some more of her.

I wasn't on GW when that aired, so missed all the fuss re that kiss (both for and against). To be honest, I never paid that much attention to it upon viewing - it is after all only a kiss, and I never thought for a second that they intended it to play as a violation. But after coming on GW, I can see why people find it offensive, based on the actors positions and actions. I think if Rachels hands weren't in the position they are in it may not be an issue.

In the commentary (FH has the text somewhere, but i'm not that technologically minded), MG mentions that it turned out differently than he'd intended for that reason (because, depending on one's interpretation, she looks uneasy), and that it was his intention for it to look "hot". JF makes a comment that she has that "stop it, some more" look. And at the end of the day, she could have knee'd him in the groin if she was that upset by it.

I wasn't in here neither when the ep happened and I discover a long time after what people have thought of this ep. It never cross my mind that it was a violation I was probably conditionned by my ship but we know that Teyla is more than able to take care and it's clear for me that she could have push him or other like you said. Besides her arms movement take different paths it's only in the end as you said. I didn't knew of the commentary either but there is other moments and even if i agree that perhapsher arms shouldn't have been like this if there hasn't been so many anti against this ship it would have pass differently I think like I said it's not the first time that we saw kiss like this on TV and generally people consider them hot or romantic (once again when it happens in TV between a ship) so ITA with you

I won't say I'm sure but I really doubt that she disappears I think too that she will be in more particularly afterr what RL said I think it was well hidden if it's the case. I hope so
