I for one thought this epiosde was pure hilariousness, Several times during the wepisode I was thinking, "why wait until season five for a hahahaha eopisode that all but kills the snarky one??" I mean think about it a second.

Many times people wanted to just kill him right? and/or put him in a point of no return that would drive any insane person totally saner then even the sanest guy around you know?

Maybe this is foreshadowing of something bigger in the ending movie??

Speaking of the Atlantis movie, currently called Project Twilight, what do you guys think is going to happen during it? Why is it called Project Twilight anyhow? Just seeing that word (Twilight) makes me think of Zelda in the new Multiplayer game for Wii . . . . . . Speaking of Zelda I have a picture on my compy of her (me) in drawn form for my human like form, anyone want to see me??

I actually liked the epi...didn't think I would since it would be basically all about McKay...
Liked the team moments,, they were sweet...
DH did a really well job playing him getting worse and worse...
JM did a really well job as well showing of a side you don't get to see to often with Ronon...how he really cared and wanted to help Rodney..those two doesn't strike you as the best of friends but when something bad happens.. they come through for eachother...
JF ..well what can I say they guy knocks it out of the park as always... the emotions he shows,, and gosh knows it all comes out in the expression in his face.. and how he reacts to things that are happening...
All of them did really well in this epi...

Loved the scene ontop of the Stargate...hahah got a little damp when dialing the DHD..no kidding...only damp you say...nice to have John and Teyla beside eachother

I can understand Keller wanting to keep him on Atlantis trying.. and not letting him go to that planet..it was a Wraith outpost and not to mention you can't say they had any scientific proof it would work.. and like she said if could be like torture..to bring him back to himself and then only to die anyway..she had no way of knowing that she would be able to save him while on the planet.. she didn't know the parasit would be smaller and would have been able to operate out of him.. so I really don't blame her at all for not wanting to let him go,, or to put the others in danger no matter if they went.. she stood her ground.. John has already been able to talk her into letting him go on a mission with that injury he had in S&R,,and if she is going to make it as a doctor she needs to grow a backbone,,and she stood up for herself really well in this...I know alot of you don't like Keller or the idea of Keller/Rodney.. I get that.. but I do I have no problem with it... would I rather see John & Teyla.. yeah of course but just as it's a normal thing to fall in love and all that,,,I hardly think that only means John & Teyla... I do get that tptb are little weird when going on and saying they really don't seem to go the idea of main characters together..but now are with Rodney & Keller.. well hopefully by going that way that is also open up the idea for it to be with John & Teyla as well.. since now they can't hide behind that notion...
And if you remember when they were in he cave..Rodney reacted the exact way Keller thought he would... he thought basically that it was torture that thinking he was just fine only for them to tell him it was only for a day and he would die anyway... to be honest..they I rather would have gone out not knowing... it was only when they were there they realized and actually it was Keller that realized it...that she was going to be able to make get it out of him while being there.. so I think she did really well in this epi...

Rodney who usually don't call Sheppard ..John well that was all over the place in this epi *lol*
What grabbed me most in this epi was the scene where Rodney was calling out for John in a panic state running towards his quarters and then banging on his door waking John up.. and him thinking he was alone and that John had left him... how we get to see what John means to Rodney... how John has not only become Rodney's best friend but how much John anchors him and how he even might feel safe knowing John is there... loved the pier scene.. hahah I've seen both the teddy shirt and the plaid shirt on cons and stuff..so JF's own clothes loved the line with Arthur.. I thought right away that couldn't be scripted... it seemed such a spontanous reaction from JF.. that is how I've seen him when he cracks up on the behind the scenes stuff..so it sure felt like something DH added and JF cracked up...

Now there wasn't much JT in this...however I didn't really get the distant feeling between them... in one scene she glanced at him and he turned his look over at her.. she was beside him in the jumper.. could have placed Ronon there but Teyla took that place first
And on the way to the cave.. you see him looking at her,,and she is looking at him when she is guiding Rodney up the hill... and then John offers his hand to help her up... yeah not really shippy... but hey since people have felt the distance between them or them not really being able to be to close of look at eachother while in eachothers presence they didn't ignore eachother here.... maybe they are taking baby steps with eachother

Woolsey...I find it funny how I hated the idea of him coming over knowing how his character was...but I got to say I've liked him in all of the epis I've seen him in season 5... how he showed he cared.. told John to tell Rodney goodbye from him as well... goes to show that he just doesn't got his nose in his report papers but care for the people that works for him.. and also that he feels able to share things with them about him and to lean on them and to learn from them... so they have done a good job writing him this season...

So overall a good epi...not the best..but still good.. I don't think I have had any major problems with this season at all...

Now Whispers next... didn't like the idea when I heard about it...SciFi's promo is a little weird as they always are.. waiting to see what the MGM promo looks like when that comes up... but who knows I might get to like this epi as well... guess I will see in two weeks since there is no new epi next week...

I just finished watching The Shrine and i was pleasantly surprised at how much i actually liked!. I'm not much of a fan of the Rodney centric episodes but this one wasn't too bad and had some touching moments.

It was a little on the predictable side but i have to admit, tears definitely came out on certain scenes. Oh and i was laughing at that cute scene between John and Rodney drinking beer when he called John by another name joking!. Such a cute moment and i don't know, i've never seen John/Joe laugh and act that way so it was nice to see. Oh the only thing that would have made that scene even better is when they cut back to John smiling and thinking about that moment, he looks to his side...which we know Teyla is sitting. It would have been great if Teyla was looking at him smiling knowing he is remembering some moment between him and Rodney. Not really any JT but it was expected and for the next episode as well. I hope they make it up to us in the episode The Queen!. I'm in much need of some great JT, especially now.

As for the Keller/Rodney scenes...didn't bother me at all in a shipper sense that is. At this point, i still don't care who they put her with, Rodney or Ronon. Maybe i will lean one way later on but for the most part, i could see them together. Now with that said, i didn't like how even though Keller tried to save Rodney, there was only two days left for him to live and she still refused to take him to the shrine where Ronon was talking about. I don't know, didn't like that part. I LOVED the scene's between Rodney and his sister!. Again, tear drops definitely came out lol.

Current Tilo statis (Lilo dressed up as Teyla): I got done with the outer "shell" and started on the outline her hair (which is probably the easist I've done, Stitchards was annoying and Ronon's was a pain in the...*searching for the right word*...bututt.). I'm putting her in a *modified* version of the sparing outfit. And there's going to be a mystery involved in this pic!! 0000000000000000000!!!

Well well well......Is everyone on Stargate liars then.......So much for JM saying oh we're gonna see alot more Teyla this season........AYE RIGHT.......Like when......Oh yeah i forgot,The queen....Her "token ep" Silly me *gives self slap on head* Well maybe i should just watch the queen and not bother watching the rest of the season

Anyway about this ep...It was ok..It wasn't good and It wasn't bad....It was kinda soso....Didn't really feel the emotion with Rodney......In face I didn't really feel anything *shrugs* I liked Keller in this...It's partly how they should be using her to win viewers over to her side...Use her as a doctor,she was firm when she told them she couldn't allow them to take Rodney to that planet....She didn't let them bully her into it like how John bullyed her into letting him go on the rescue mission in S & R...

And well what can ya say about Woolsey.....LOVED HIM again....There has not been one scene that i haven't liked him in...And the poor woman at the controls when he started rambling off to her I have to say this has been a very good decision to bring him in

Now the McKeller scenes....BLURGH........What happened to the "oh we don't put main characters together"....Unless it suits them

So like blue says unless your a McShep or McKeller fan...Forget it....This is the onlt two they seem to be interested in!!! I mean YUCK....McKeller...I think I'm gonna be sick now...Please excuse me!!

even if I'm not so tolerant with Keller but as I said in the Teyla thread I'm ashamed but I play the game of the authors I mean they can't write for 2 female characters and while we should support all the feminine characters (I would have dream of a female lead in Stargate Universe) they divide us and the female are so criticised I'm really angry that the authors keep on going with this and like you said later i don't understand where it came that Keller massge the back of McKay head WTF ? I'm one of the few who like the whiny Keller I find it fun now they try to make the all powerful, strong and all Keller who is the damsel in distress because desperatly in love but strong enough to be the new Teyla. I can bet that in Tracker she could save herslef alone while Teyla couldn't. Sorry but I'm really disappointed

The problem I had with her refusing to let him go was that she still wanted to try and fix things even though she had enough time and knew there was nothing she could do..I didnt see it as bullying at all ... rather than his friends knowing Rodney better that she did.. and this is why I am against this McKeller thing as she was getting too emotionally involved already and not thinking clearly... she did not have Rodney' best interest in mind but her own... he was dying and they were giving him a chance to be himself again... so if they had listened to her he would be dead..... so thanks to Jeannie she over rode Kellers decision... the ptb were definitely trying to show a more confident and mature side to Keller but they ruined it showing her having feelings for Rodney... and I found it quite creepy the way she was rubbing the back of his neck... the ptb look like they are going to completely ignore the patient/doctor relationhship thing which is a shame and again didnt endear me to Keller here either.

Yeah it's what I mean with Keller divided te team everywhere she is. I mean she gains so much screen time she has a love triangle in the team. I liked the whiny Keller she could have become sort of Vala and focus on the team like SG1 do no once again they make a Keller ep with one of the team and particularly she sticks so well in the McShep show

Ok first of all I'm proud of me I mean they haven't the leader SG1 and the canceled Battlestar Galactica so why don't make a mix and oh surprise what did I read 'Battlestar Galactica and it's normal to be fair of the space opera' I'm a really really fan of space op it's why I love The Ark and try to give chance to BSG TRhe problem with BSG is you have too much of the Shrine I mean before you even like your characters they are yer in ships I don't care for ships I like when it's well done but I don't watch fo ships so I really don't like BSG as much as I'm a fan of space op so with this ep, the lack of Teyla, JT, this sad news and the way they treat the fans (that I find really fun) I don't think Universe can stand a chance and to be honnest I need your help because I'm even tired of Stargate now

Exactly Keller and Mckay seem to be getting More Screen time every episode Dont get me Wrong I like these 2 Characters they are just not my Favorites it wouldnt hurt the Writers to give Shep and Teyla some Especially Teyla

Hopefully we get some good JT even though it's AU... wondering if John is dreaming this or what... who knows... might be a twist to it since they didn't say anything of why this whole thing is in Vegas and why he is acting out as a Detective and for example like Woolsey is the FBI..might Teyla and Ronon and the others play another part in it as well...hrmm guess time will tell...
