Well all of them can apply...Kinda depends...We use different one's all the time Ok that didn't help did it....Um lemme see,what kinda sentence is it used in!

Scots isn't a version of English. It's a language of its own because it has different grammar to English.

Par example

Spoiler:

English: He didn't do it.
Scottish: He didny do it.

From this, it would appear they are the same word but no...

English: Didn't he do it?
Scottish: Didny he do it?

The english version is grammatically correct, but the Scottish isn't
