What's up with ff.net? I saw someone complaining earlier. I'm trying to post a new story and it's not letting me. Here's the first section if anyone's interested. Congrats to everyone with milestones!!

Continues from TMC: When the team on New Athos survives the Jumper crash, Teyla is forced to confide in John when she discovers a major difference between her and her counterpart back at Atlantis who struggles with a painful secret. *possible SPOILERS*

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter:

Kanan woke in a dark room feeling the bodies of frightened people pressed against him. He recognized the whispered voices of those who were bold enough to speak out and wondered where they were and what had happened. The blackness of the room was so complete that it was a surprise when a light suddenly appeared. It grew brighter and he watched as four Wraith guards escorted a Wraith queen into the room. He quickly bowed his head as if blocking his eyes would keep him from being seen by them.

“Which of you is leader to these people?” Her question was met with silence, so she moved closer to the tight crowd and paced in front of them. “Surely there is someone here who will represent you. By your silence, it is clear that you are nothing more than a group of strangers we happened to find inhabiting the same village. A nation without a leader is a nation without a future. Someone answer me!”

Kanan lifted his head cautiously, ready to speak out, but he heard someone else’s voice before he could open his mouth.

“I will represent the Athosian people,” a young woman said as she stood to her feet. “My name is Ava. I’m second cousin to Teyla Emmagan, our leader, who was not with us when we were captured.”

The queen nodded in approval. “I am Shani. My hive has accepted guardianship of your people. Follow me. We have much to discuss.”

Kanan watched Ava leave the room with the queen leading the way. The light went out when they were gone, and he let out a breath of relief, but at the same time, cursed himself for his weakness. He was thankful that Teyla had not been present to witness it.

She talks about J/T! WOOHOO!!!!

Complicating the situation [of her pregnancy] are Sheppard's hidden feelings for Teyla. Even before an infected Sheppard planted a kiss on Teyla, viewers had speculated there were sparks igniting between the two friends. "My take on the relationship is the audience is not far from the truth," smiled Luttrell. "They do have a special connection. Sheppard is the very first character that Teyla trusted. I think it is because of him she was so willing to stay in Atlantis and leave her home and position with her people. He's the reason for that and Sheppard has been the person Teyla turns to in many instances for comfort and guidance. There is definitely a bond there."
Needless to say, Sheppard has difficulties accepting Teyla's announcement. "We were shooting an episode after Teyla told Sheppard she was pregnant and there was an interaction between the two of them," recalls Luttrell. "Sheppard is being protective of her and doesn't want Teyla to go out on all these missions now. There's a scene that plays out between the two where Teyla is essentially demanding to go on a mission, saying, 'I still have all the cababilities I always had' and they get into a bit of an argument. The two of us were working out that scene, going back and forth, and Joe Flanigan finally said 'I figured out what is going on in this scene for Sheppard. He's jealous!' There is definite jealousy that Teyla is pregnant, that there was somebody else, and she didn't tell him. Those are some of the colors we were playing with but it is one of those things that happens in real life too. You may be attracted to someone yet your attachment to your culture or your roots sometimes becomes a stronger pull."

That's exactly what I was thinking too!

She also mentions that Michael has strong role as well, so that also reaffirms our suspicions that he will be somehow involved. She also mentioned there being someone else in the bit I quoted, so perhaps what we were speculating, that it starts out normal, but Michael does something to her and/or the baby to add that Sci-Fi twist to it so it won't end as a regular pregnancy.
