I don't know, really. I think it's because PTB started openly playing the shipper card and dragging it and it turned very boring. The unprompted, unexpected hug in the first ep of S3 was amazing. When S4 started it was kind of expected, but not exciting. I don't know. *shrug* Maybe it's because I felt the shipping was kind of forced and I didn't see any chemistry between them. *ducks for tomatoes*

I love Divide and Conquer, but feelings so out in the open would have needed resolution within a season or so. Instead they dragged it and dragged it and dragged it... We'll reserve the tomatoes for other people, dear.

...then how the story oh-so-carefully ignores the giant SPARKY RED elephant dancing the cha-cha in front of the Stargate is in many ways even more of an insult to the audience's intelligence.
