Thanks! I had a nice beach day. I went to one of the beaches that you can go to with the state beach pass. I haven't been to that beach in years. I figure I'll try to visit many of the beaches before summer arrives.

Thanks! I saw some doggies today but they weren't well behaved like at the other beach. These dogs were leaving.... gifts.... behind. And their owners weren't cleaning up after them. I was very careful of where I walked.

I am officially out-of-office until the 26th of april when I'm back in-office.

Also, trying to find a freakin' waistcoat for women is impossible unless you work as a waiter.

The company I work for is celebrating its 20th anniversary in May, and we're cordially invited to attend. The invitation states that you can come as you are, but if you want to glam up, go for it.

Well, I thought "come as you are" ... I'm gonna dress up as a minion but then yesterday my best friend wanted to show her dress for the evening. It was very beautiful and I though that maybe I should go all out too then, instead of the minion. So, I said, half joking I'd try for a 3-piece suit.
My best friend and my sister were immediately super enthusiastic about it, and my best friend was like, "Can I put you on my dance card too?" ... "Sure, why not!"

So, today I bought a gothic, black waistcoat (which will still be 2 sizes too big probably but that can be fixed) and I intend to go all out. Maybe my tophat too... will see.
