We have a wind chill advisory here from Friday night into Saturday morning. It says the wind chill will be between -15 F to -20 F (-26 C to -29 C).

I think I've got you all beat. I won't be leaving the house.

Its not been bad here. More sunny days than I could have hoped for and its not been bitterly cold. I’m hoping that the forecasted snow skirts around us this weekend as I’m itching for a hike, but they are already closing most roads into the mountains. We took an hour detour last hike to get to the trailhead. Those are some crazy curvy roads and I get carsick sitting up front, lol.

Clouds and temps in the upper 40s continue through the weekend. Much better than the low 20s, that's for sure!

The lag is server related so they're looking into it.

On Saturday both of my football teams have their playoff games. Both teams are expected to lose. I'm just proud they both made it to the playoffs this year.

Well, most of our teams didn't make it to the bowls anyway, but for those who did (and btw, don'tcha just LOVE those corporate sponsorships? )... Virginia Tech fell to Maryland in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl 54-10, Tennessee fell to Purdue in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl 48-45 (in overtime!), Air Force beat Louisville in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl 31-28, and our very own Eri13/ugahill's Georgia Bulldogs mauled #1-ranked Alabama to win the national championship 33-18! Congrats to all the winners, and on to next season!

College football usually starts around the last week of August/first week of September. Professional football is still on; they're now in the playoffs, the Super Bowl is in February. Then they start up again not too long after the college season starts.

Rogers annoys me as much as the tennis guy getting deported from Australia. It baffles me that they seem just fine with hijacking the story or situation and have lost all perspective on the “why” of their sport. I dislike being the center of attention especially for all the wrong reasons aka when I screw up, lol. I can’t even imagine hijacking a national or international conversation ( I’m sure there is a better word than conversation but it’s cold and my brain isn’t cooperating).
