However, there should be something there because there's like an empty space in your post that is clearly designed to show an image.

We only have two seasons -- too hot, or cold and rain... ... or so it feels lately.

Okay, that was fascinating... our street just flooded during the severe thunderstorm which passed over our region, a little over an hour ago. Our pipes clearly couldn't handle the flood cause both our toilets were regurgitating water... it also smells bad.

We don't have to water the plants today, that's for sure.

There was always a time and place for fun in the city of Atlantis, and on rare occasions it even engaged those who could rarely be torn away from their important work. However, not all fun was planned in advance. Some fun was merely a result of an accidental -- or so they often claimed -- and unexpected side effect of someone's experiment or research.

In Atlantis nothing "just" happened so when Elizabeth was made aware over half of the north pier had been iced over, right around the same time the northern hemisphere of planet earth was in the winter season, she was almost certain it hadn't been an accident. Her suspicions were confirmed when she found the culprits admiring their handy-work, two of the climatologists, a German and an Austrian previously stationed at the South-Pole, in collusion with a very eager Czech and, surprisingly, one sneaky Canadian. The latter even, albeit briefly, dared to claim he was pressured into helping.

The news of the pier being iced over spread like wildfire through the city and before long the residents had gathered all along the pier, setting up stalls with warm drinks, and inventing creative ways of skating across the ice. It surprised no one that several members had foreseen the frozen wasteland and came well equipped in the ice-skating department. Others improvised the hell out of it.

Elizabeth wished she could be angry with the culprits but it didn't look like her heart was in it so she settled with a scowl each time one of the four would approach or pass her by. They got the message loud and clear that next time they should ask first, or at least inform her what they were planning. She had little hope they would remember it though.

"Looks nice, doesn't it?"

Lieutenant Laura Cadman appeared at Elizabeth's side, grinning ear to ear.

"Could have been nicer if they had warned me what they were planning."

"They said it was an accidental side effect."

Elizabeth tilted her head, giving Laura the 'do you really believe that' look.

"Right," Laura shook her head. "Of course not."

A snowball came flying past and hit Rodney McKay in his neck. A girlish squeal escaped his throat as the snow started to melt, slit down his neckline, and right down his spine.

"Who did that?!"

Elizabeth and Laura turned towards the direction of where the snowball had originated from, just in time to see a second ball launched in the air. This one missed its intended target -- again Rodney -- by a hair's breath. There was a bit of giggling before a third ball was launched, and since Rodney had just turned around to face his assailants the ball hit him square in the face.

"Nice aim!"

"SHEPPARD!!"

Rodney managed to get the snow from his eyes but his anger seemed to be aimed at the wrong person when he noticed the colonel wasn't in the correct location to have thrown the ball from, unless he could make it spin to make a ninety degree turn. He didn't entirely rule that out.

"Dips on the Doc!"

John made sure everyone could hear him next.

"Kate, you're on my team for the snowball fight later."

Elizabeth could tell many were already expecting a crashing defeat in the proposed snowball fight later in the day. All the while, Kate stood grinning.

"See, Teyla," she heard Kate say, "the perfect snowball is only as perfect as the person who throws it."

Elizabeth had to turn away after that, laughing, noticing Rodney felt quite differently about that notion.

It was pretty epic until the pipes started protesting and the street flooded.

Fun ain't over either cause more thunder-and-lightning with heavy rain has been announced for tonight and during the night.

Literally everywhere in Belgium got hit pretty bad. Many streets got flooded and buildings had water coming in from above. Underground parking lots turned into swimming pools.

I loved the latest Office Saga, FH!!!! Kate and Teyla would be the ultimate team up in a snowball fight.

At this point, I prefer snow to all that water we got... I could have build a snowman.

I can totally see this happening! Especially the John and Rodney bickering. And while they're bickering, everyone else flanks their position and they get absolutely BURIED in snowballs.
