What a cool video. I also want to thank you again, It's A Paradox for your 'Signatures for Dummies' explanation earlier today. It was really helpful.

As for videos, I found one that Sparks of Atlantis did a few days ago. I'll try and get the link.

I read Chapter Five of the latest episode of Atlantis:Rising earlier this evening. What a roller coaster ride that was! And there was Sparky! I have my fingers crossed for a lot more to come. But I am really enjoying it. If there is anyone who isn't reading it I would wholly recommend giving it a go.

Anyway, there are few reasons I haven't been around for a while. The hubby had an operation and then there was sorting out my daughter's 4th birthday. Also, it's convention time over here and I have been to a couple for the first time. I can't believe it took so long for me to do it. I met Torri at Milton Keynes. God, she was so lovely and listened to me babble for a good 10-15 minutes. Met loads of Atlantis people at Chevron as well. Hoping to go to Chevron again next year and JF is set to be there!

Wow, these things are so much fun. We had a really good time. Got another one next month - tickets for those arrived today. Got tickets for a Star Trekeep Space Nine Anniversary panel. Yes, we are Trekkies here too!

Anyway, I am feeling a little sad at the moment. I've been writing Life As A Shadow and it is getting to me a little. Stupid, I know, since I am the one writing it but I just miss Sparky.

Anyway, break taken, back to typing.

I hope your daughter had a great birthday and your husband is doing well. I think you mentioned on FF.net that you and your daughter were sick. Hope you're both feeling better. And you met Torri! Lucky! I highly doubt I'll meet any of the Stargate cast so I'll just be happy when other Stargate fans get to meet them and tell me about the experience.

I honestly can't wait for the next chapter you're working on. It feels like I'm reading two version of SGA: Season 6 with your story and SGA: Rising each week. You're version is just more Sparky focused. I have no problem with this.

The quality of music vids has improved vastly. By quality I mean size and image resolution. Due to bandwidth limitations vids used to be tiny. I saved my favs (vid makers put them up for people to download) but they're tiny and blurry and how I wish I could find bigger versions.

HAH, my thoughts exactly. I was well impressed by the vid that Annelantis posted. Its all so shiny and crystal clear. Not like it used to be when this whole sparky-vid-thing started. I still have tons of vids saved on my harddrive which are around 500x500 pixels wide and super blury. But somehow I still love them.

god, I used to LOVE Kawoosh. There was a time when I downloaded every sparky-vid published on that site... I think I even kept most of them. I could never bring myself to delete my vid-collection. I bet there are some rare gems hidden in there .. somewhere

god, I used to LOVE Kawoosh. There was a time when I downloaded every sparky-vid published on that site... I think I even kept most of them. I could never bring myself to delete my vid-collection. I bet there are some rare gems hidden in there .. somewhere

IKR, me too. I even moved some off my computer and onto DVDs. Now those are the reallllly old ones. When I get to the point that I can delete them, I'll know I'm done with the fandom. LOL

Sparky vidmakers are the best and those old vids stand the test of time. Even blurry and tiny I still watch them from time to time and they're great. My favorite is this one that's Jack/Sam Daniel/Janet and Sheppard/Weir "The Eye of the Beholder," I usually don't care much for SG1 but the video is just that good.

Me too, it's a good thing the habit back then was to put them up for download so I have quite the collection. It makes me sad to think of all the great vidmakers who left the fandom. But it's great to see new vidmakers carrying the torch.
