Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread
Off the top of my head--and anything that had a relationship element for realz, and I'm leaving out one night stands or one moment kisses cuz then I'd have to include a couple of John's alien women and bearded Mike:
Rodney/Katie
Carson/Cadman
Teyla/Kanaan
Ronon/ Melina (deceased wife)
Rodney/Keller
John/Nancy (technically his ex-wife, so past relationship, not present)
John/Chaya (okay, it was more than a night, the dude packed a picnic for her)
Elizabeth/Simon
Is that it?
Thanks The Rodney/Katie pairing is my favorite of those you mention.
I enjoyed all those sparky Weir/Sheppard moments in the first season until I suddenly remembered Simon and said to my friend: "wasn't she with someone at home?"

Wasn't that a rather awkward date? At least to me it was...
I think the gist of the awkwardness was that Elizabeth was supposed to be 'flattered' that someone was coming on to her, and that she did like him (which is why she got all embarrassed when Teyla and Carson were trying to figure out what she was up to), but that she realized that she couldn't do her job and date someone at the same time.
Of course, I still find it funny that they didn't even try to confront of the 1000 pound gorilla of 'what would John say,' but that's just me.

I like most of these, except Simon, and I suspect it's got a lot to do with that awful hairdo he sported on The Intruder, it made him look sleazy, bleurgh.

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon.Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

She would have known that, if she had watched Star Trek Voyager - Janeway had the exact same problem
And why should she be flattered? She's an intelligent, attractive woman - of course someone would eventually come on to her. Strange writing again...

Definitely not just you. If I'm recalling properly, everyone but John and Ronon had some kind of comment on it. Oh Gero, your writing is so lame.
