I think it's heading over my way tomorrow. There were tornadoes east of us yesterday, and severe storms with large hail expected tomorrow. I hope our insurance company doesn't have to buy us another roof like they did the last time this happened.

I have! But most of what I've heard were that the Shex people were upset that McSheppers were "oppressing" them by their numbers, so I'm not so sure about your statement.

I didn't know that, but I wasn't talking about the size of the shipper group. I was referring to the awesomeness of Ronon as opposed to McKay.

I try very hard to not carry any mention of one ship group into the environs of another ship group. Some people mention their other ships constantly regardless of what thread they're posting in, and this can just cause irritation if not downright hostility.

Some people just can't help it. It used to tickle me to read the episode threads and predict shippers' reactions to a scene. I freely admit to being biased and seeing most things through Sparky eyes, but I can also play Devil's Advocate when necessary.

Hostility always baffled me. Elizabeth could have singlehandedly killed all the Wraith and brought peace and prosperity to all of Pegasus, and some people would still have blamed her for something. But the most baffling thing of all was how someone's OPINION could be wrong, and lots of posters all came to tell you why. There wasn't much agreeing to disagree back in the day. But being a bit perverse, I used to poke the bear sometimes just to hear him growl and prove he was a mean old bear.

You're welcome. I'm pretty sure I saved those before I was even a member of the forum.... back when I was just a lurker (as SR or SK would say, the good old days ).

I wish I'd saved all your episode commentaries too (or at least the post number) because those were also really good.
