and this is where my Northern girl shows up...not a fan of most of that stuff...but i do like fried green tomatoes....and go you! i don't have the discipline to do low carb anything....i love me my pasta too much

I'm not sure how good the seats are considering how far back we are. It's the last row before the lawn. Let's just say if it rains, we'll get wet. But only on the back. OTOH, the thousands up in the balconies might disagree with me. I have binoculars, so we're all good.

Hey, don't knock hog jowls if you haven't tried them. You gotta do something with that head you cut off the hog. Oh, and I forgot pickled pig's feet. Even I couldn't manage those. I'm picturing a scene where Teyla and Ronon are explaining to John and Rodney just what they are eating and how the Athosians use every part of the animal. ROTFLMAO!

All that talk of food... after screwing up two brownie recipes, my sister and I tried fish & chips today... it looks good, don't know yet about the taste.
