Is it just me, or does anyone else find it disturbing that the Ancients were actually playing around with manipulating real societies?

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

Teyla seems to be talking to them as if they were children, look at the way she asks John about the name of his land/country.

LOL at Ronon grinning in approval when Rodney whines that Sheppard was building up his country's army.

Teyla and Ronon think the Earthlings are nuts.

Ronon and Teyla can't believe they take a game this seriously. John realizes he is not very imaginative because he didn't come up with a clever new name for his country.

Watching Rodney's head blow away from his body over and over again must be the perfect gift for John.

                          Disturbing but not surprising.

Definitely NOT the morally superior race that they were first made out to be, were they?
