Random comment. I wish SGA fics would all include the season they're supposed to be set in as part of the description. I have no desire to read S4/S5 stories (unless they're fix it fics) and it's annoying when you start reading then all of a sudden - boom - you have Woolsey.

Yes, i agree. And maybe that’s why i only read the fics that mention that the pairing is John/Elizabeth and just don’t bother (also i don’t have that much time) to read the other ones. And there are some that i don’t like to read as much also, the ones that are still passed on season one. I mean i read some of them, but i don’t like them as much as the others, it seem they no longer make sense when John is still being called Major, or then when it is Lt. Ford there and not Ronan. I liked Lt Ford, but it is no longer the same thing.

And another thing, i wish all fics would mention if they are complete or not, the thing that i don’t like the most is when a fic doesn’t have an end, specially a fic that i am really enjoying.

I hadn't seen that before...i watched both this clip and the clip after and lol'd through most of it cuz they're just so fun...and hee i like Torri's suggestion of what would happen if Teyla and Elizabeth fought for John....

Makes me even more anxious to get moved and get my DVDs out of storage! I miss SG1 and SGA!!!!

Great minds think alike... I mentioned the same thing a few posts ago.

That it is. Heck every time I watch Ancient Aliens on the History Channel, I always wonder how whatever they are talking about could be spun into a Stargate plotline.

That whole series of vids is great. It's worth noting too that this special was done in S1. So that means the questions about Sparky started up early on. There is an adorable moment in one of them when Joe is being interviewed and he gets a call from his wife. We learn that he calls her "Sweetie", which still continues to this day. I just love that about him.

I remember that bit, too. So cute!

Hadn't thought about why they were able to grab his head, but you're right. I'll just chalk it up to writer incompetence as usual.

Mallozzi and Mullie wrote it. That's all the explanation we need.

I can handle that better than the ones labeled with the wrong ship. My eyes!!!! I only read the Sparky ones and not all of those. Sometimes they are so badly written I don't make it past the first page. *shudders*

Definitely a serious weakness because that will mean that a poisonous gas would always be able to pass by the personal shield and kill the wearer.

No, that's not the weakness. The weakness is that if the shield works as written, the wearer will die within minutes, regardless of the presence of any gas

I love both of them, all these artwork are great and look really realistic and makes me wish that we saw those on the show.

Pretty much, yes. One of the things I've always liked about Stargate in general is how they took stories we today think of as myths and legends and recast them in the guise of being "alien visitations" and such. Rather fun.

I really like many of the ideas they have had as well, like how there have been speculations in the past about aliens having something to do with the pyramids in Egypt and the once in Central and south America and how they actually made them out the be alien inventions on the show.

Well I have been thinking if I should post this here or not, and I decided to post it. I mean it is something old, but it was also something I had never seen before, so I am wondering if someone in here also didn’t watch it.

such as when they ask Joe with whom he thinks John is going to hook up, Teyla or Dr. Weir?!!!! And they also ask Torri if she will fight Teyla over John’s love?!!!! I know this is old and we all now what ended up happening, but never the less I found it interesting.

Finding myself with an unexpected free evening - the boys are sick and staying home instead of coming out in the stupid-cold to see me (as they should, I even told them to keep them home). Catching up on fan fics, maybe writing, maybe chatting...praying this attic warms up enough that i can feel my fingers and toes...

I'm the same as you Pearl. I don't really have any interest in any stories that are not John/Elizabeth. I have read so many of them now but there are thousands. It drove me mad too when I was reading a story that was like, twenty chapters or so and then there is was no ending... there is one I am following right now that has not been updated since Christmas and I am pulling my hair out waiting for the next chapter. But nowadays, what I do is use the filter to only find the Complete stories. I haven't been so disappointed since.
