He was moving away from his team so he'd have a clear shot at her in case he needed to shoot her. And that expression was relief that she was finally out of his life and the sexual harassment would stop. OMG, I'm crying.

It's also the woobie face, which is a variation of the wibble face. There's a fun game we play where we point out all the times he does it in S4-5. Actually, it would make a nice drinking game too.

A bit of OT before anything else, I woke up this morning bit a lot of this:

I would say that him taking it hard might even be a bit of an understatement, he just wasn’t the same after that.


You should defiantly check out the other two seasons at least once Sparky She-Demon, sure the first seasons had in my opinion a better quality to them but seeing them at least once is fine and there are a few good episodes still, not many but a few, more in season 5 than season 4 but it’s probably best if you create your own opinion, who knows, maybe you’ll really enjoy it though you can skip Doppelganger, that episode was just all kinds of bad.

John’s woobie face is awesome, you can so see that it shows up whenever he thinks of Elizabeth (and we kinda know that’s the case)

Newly fallen snow is very beautiful and you do feel as if you're in this whole winter wonderland however in this case I was so not ready for it and I didn’t know what to wear because it’s not all that cold yet (-1 C) which means that it’s also very wet so choose the worse kinds of shoes to wear.

There are a few other good things that skipping the episode will allow you to pretend it never happened but that’s defiantly the best part

Have been skimming the thread today and found the discussion about Ghost in the machine interesting, so here it is my input about it. (Will probably add more things later, but for a start...)

In a sad way i loved this episode. I think Michelle Morgan did a great job as Elizabeth, I was able to see Elizabeth in her, but of course i would have preferred to see Torri there, but i didn't mind Michelle Morgan much because i think she was able to convey us all the feelings and all that was going on with Elizabeth there when she was facing the mistrust of her (former) friends. It was really one of those episodes in which one can't avoid but cry, since it was so full of different emotions.

The ending scene left me speechless and with tears in my eyes the first time i watched it, and still does every time i (re)watch this episode.

Hey, here's an idea: Elizabeth's consciousness stays trapped in the computer on Atlantis, but she can materialize as a hologram in the holo room, and I need to shut up before the fic bunnies see this.

Ooh, this. He did an amazing job with conveying those emotions. It had to be especially shocking, considering that by this time, finding Elizabeth or the hope of ever seeing her again was the last thing on TPTW everyone's minds.
