If I wasn't exhausted, I would stick around, but I've had a long day.

Instead, I'll leave my two cents about what happened in between "Progeny" and TRW.

There are a ton of opinions on the topic of Elizabeth's fate, but we were left on a cliffhanger there as well. Because even though Repli-Weir told John and Co. that their Elizabeth was dead, she was seen at the end of BAMSR sitting on the bridge of that Replicator ship. And even with the events of GitM, it's sci fi. Everything is never as it seems, and always open to interpretation for fanfic writers.

I can't even understand how someone could hate Carson for something like that. It's not hard to see that Carson himself could see how unethical some of his actions were...he quoted the first bit of the Hippocratic oath "Do No Harm" and admitted he was at a loss for how to hold to it. He knew full well when he did something unethical, but there were times he was given no choice, and he did feel bad whenever something bad happened because of him.

Agreed. I think he, as well as the rest of the expedition, found himself in an impossible position of having an enemy who could not be compromised with. There's no way I can see that would have allowed them all to come out of that situation squeaky clean - it was a matter of survival, pure and simple. And yes,Carson felt genuinely conflicted about the things he had to do.

Yeah there is a scene of Vega asking Keller out on a date in the deleted scenes of Season 5. I'm not sure if the scene itself gives the impression that it's more about girl on girl action for males (maybe if you watched it you could decide for yourself) but Martin Gero's introduction of this scene most definitely does. I remember sitting there watching it thinking to myself, "Uh... as a straight male and a fan of writing characters for the right reason I'm...not sure how I feel about that." Even if he was kidding, I couldn't help but notice it seemed out of place.

The only one to get a service was Carson - and they drank to the crew of that Lantean ship. The rest of them were either mentioned to be dead or nothing was said at all. All of them forgotten though... they have that in common (except maybe Carson).

How far into the Romeo and Juliet thing would you want to go into in this AU story?

I have been wondering what makes me like Elizabeth and John and for that i will have to go back to how i begun liking Stargate Atlantis. I am going to use spoiler tags in case some of you just aren't interested in my nonsense and just want to move on.

Spoiler:

I begun watching it firstly because i had seen Stargate SG1, not all the episodes then, but i started with them, then i saw lots of times the trailer of Stargate Atlantis, but back then the time it was showed it was impossible for me to watch it, so sometimes i would only see glimpses of it when i would stop by our living room and someone was watching it.

I remember seeing that part of John and Dr. Zelenka in "Adrift", when Dr. Zelenka is hit by the small meteorite (of course back then i didn't know them at all and didn't know what they were doing ). Then i remember seeing the reruns, parts of it also, that were showed during the day, i remember parts from "Letters from Pegasus" and of "Before i sleep", and that's about it.

I can't remember now what was actually the first episode i first watched, i mean the first episode i watched from the beginning to the end, it wasn't "Rising", because "Rising", was the last episode(s) i watched after having watched almost all the episodes from season one to maybe end/middle of season three. Oh and i watched the episodes from season 1 to 3 always as reruns. I only watched the episodes that were showed at night, for the first time, precisely when Sam Carter came to replace Elizabeth, that is Lifeline, can you believe it? Shame on me!!

But then i become really interested in the series, not because of John and Elizabeth (not at first), but because i loved Atlantis, the city was so beautiful and the fact they were living adventures on another galaxy plus the Atlantis technology made me like the show.

But then in one of my searches for info about the series, i came across with some fics and more precisely with this video "RUN" and when i watched this video i was able to realise that there was actually something "there" between Elizabeth and John, thing that i had never realized before.

But then i watched the episodes once again, starting from season 1, Rising, and there it was, the signs that i so blindly wasn't able to see before, and that's how i became a Sparky!!!

Oh and another funny thing, here they showed reruns of seasons 1 to 3 several times, but they only showed the rerun of season 4 once and they never showed any rerun of season 5. I wonder why...

But i love Sparky so much because I think that John and Elizabeth have some tension due to their respective roles and different life philosophies (soldier vs. diplomat, military vs. civilian), and it's exactly this tension that makes them interesting to me! They would disagree, sometimes very passionately, but when they work together, they are unstoppable. And I love them because I like the fact that they are both very strong people who hold firmly in what they believe in and don't back down. Not to mention they look so cute together and the eyesex.
