Ok, the gaming device John had in S&R, which I think was the last time he was seen with one (seems he reserves use for it when he's cooped up in the infirmary and ooh that's now a point that's going in the story but I digress) was a Nintendo DS. Considering they just came out with one that has 3D graphics and a wider screen, I think it's safe to assume that is the one John would have.

*tilts head* I just made a decision. He's playing Super Mario Brothers. And you'll find out why ... in the next snippet I post.

I actually really appreciated how no one called or referred to Elizabeth as "Liz." To me, it doesn't sound like a very professional name, especially for a woman in her position. Even though "Elizabeth" is a long name, it is also a strong one, and the fact that people addressed her by her complete name was a sign of respect.

Well said. We fans occasionally call her Lizzeh as a sign of affection and awe at her awesomeness (the infamous Zero Point Snark is the first place I saw it used) but Elizabeth is absolutely appropriate for a professional setting. Plus there's something about it that just sounds badass.
