She really does show exceptional leadership skills here. No matter what attachment she has to her friends, she does what is necessary.

John knows he screwed up, but he just reacted without thinking. Now, like a naughty boy, he doesn't want to listen to reason.

People are starting to drop like flies now and McKay is getting upset, but not with his own possible death but with others, it's an interesting Rodney episode. I also think that this is the first time they mention Rodney's sister. And of course now he is trying to get everything out before he dies and trying to find a way to die heroecly.

John goes back to calling her Dr Weir in front of the others once he's realized she's in charge and he needs to act like it.
