Ugh, I had my own war with allergies last week, so I know how you feel. I'm doing better now, and I'm glad you are too. Sleep is a happy thing. Hot rum toddies with double shots of rum are even better.

I finally figured out the easiest way for me to rip a DVD. It's a program called DVD Shrink, and it takes the whole episode and rips/shrinks it down into a MP4 file that I can manipulate and play with on Windows Movie Maker. As soon as I get this season ripped, I'm begging my friend for the other seasons so I can finally make a variety of SGA vids as I please!!!

Now to go cook dinner ... *drools*

UPDATE: So I successfully ripped the episodes. Editting them, however, is a different story. When I trim the videos, the image will lag for a few seconds, sometimes completely covering the part I wanted to snip.

Reminds me of when I was in 6th grade. My mom was out of town so I was staying at a friend's house, and the morning of school pictures, I decided to trim my hair. BAD IDEA all around. I cut it so short, I had two spots where I was almost bald. Just to add insult to injury, the photographers had us pose sitting down, and they had me pose like a boy!

Suffice it to say, I didn't touch my hair for a loooooooong time after that.

First off - breaking news!! Torri is also going to be at the Creation con in Chicago in August. Like Rachel, she's appearing on Saturday. Joe will be there on Sunday. So no SparkyCon, but they'll both be there. Anyone here going? I'm really thinking about it, but I'd never go by myself.
