Thanks I was listening to the song today and randomly this idea came after I thought of my fan fic. And yes this is a very lantent Sparky episode. In my imagination John and Lizzie did alot of cuddling when John came home

Heya Sparkies! Now that the authors for the 2010 Sparky Santa fic exchange have been revealed, I can now shamelessly pimp my fic:

Atlantis's First Thanksgiving, or Why We Learned to Stop Worrying and Believe in the Expedition's Betting Pool, which I wrote for the marvelous oparu. It's set in an AU Season 1, with all our old friends making appearances at a celebration held at the Athosian camp. Old skool Sparky, at it's best. Please enjoy!

And in a hilarious bit of irony, oparu was the one assigned to write fic for me: Sugar Rush! It's a hysterical little Christmas fic, and I swear, I am so going to find a way to get some puddlejumper-shaped cookie cutters if it kills me! Hahahah!

Be sure to read and review all the other great fics there, too! These authors need some love!

It's official. I'm the biggest most hopelessly romantic sap in the entire world. Please forgive me.

Perhaps it's not quite as good as the other one, but it's just so fluffy and happy that I love it anyway. This was inspired by the same song as the last one; it wasn't ready to let me go yet. Perhaps this has become a series...
I honestly don't know what has possessed me to do these backgrounds. *shakes head* Especially this one. (Also I fail so much at straight lines.) I must have become temporarily crazy, because normally I'm far too lazy to do backgrounds (or I feel that it takes away from the focus of the pic).
Yes, that is Woolsey down there with the crowd. If you're wondering where the team is, Ronon, Teyla, Rodney and I suppose Jennifer are up there with John and Liz as groomsman, maid of honor, best man and bridesmaid respectively. So yeah...

Big surprise, I know.

The character of Elizabeth is what drew me into SGA to begin with. Her strength, her compassion, her courage, her leadership. All of it, lock, stock and barrel. She was not perfect, and that, in itself is perfection. (whoa, deep thought there) She held the expedition together. She surrounded herself with amazing people and then put them in an environment where their strengths and talents would be revealed and utlized to their best potential. And, she cared. She cared so much, felt things so deeply, which I guess, at times, was both her greatest strength and her achilles heel. And, I admit, when she was lost to the Replicators, I couldn't continue with the show. So, SGA was Season 1, 2 and 3 for me. After that, it transformed into something I couldn't connect to anymore. I did watch the "Elizabeth" episodes in Season 4, but that's it.
