I'm not going onto this expedition unless there is Guinness, Kilkenny and at least 10 different German brews (including Becks and some top-fermented dark beer).

*nods* Definitely need to do some hydroponics. I can see that being set up and running by the time we get to SS6, so it's really just a question of sliding some references to it into the stories.

And surely they can find some sea life that's edible... I can't get that giant lobster in Lantea's ocean that Rodney was talking about in Echoes out of my head.

Eri, I found an Elizabeth fic that I think you'll enjoy that addresses the kind of preparations that the expedition should've made before leaving Earth in Rising, and the kind of things we may need to think about in Season 7. It's the sort of worldbuilding that I always wanted to see on the show.

With all this talk of furniture, design and sets, I just remembered.....

My hubby is a cabinet builder. Perhaps he could assist with some of the set building? He hasn't done furniture before though, but he can make a helluva kitchen cabinet or bathroom vanity....

And, I really hope we find decent beds for our version of SGA. Those dorm mattress, iron frame, single person jobs are DISGUSTING!

And let's not forget John's bed that doesn't even fit him.

I was thinking about this last night. There's nothing in the way of John and Elizabeth getting together. Not even the rules now. No other ship has to be dealt with. No changing canon in complicated ways. And yet we are not rushing to get to RST, we are taking it slow and building the ship in a logical believable manner. Yay us.



My eyes hurt from all the rolling. Isn't everything involving her ship related? I feel a rant coming on but don't have time to write it. LOL

I watched 6 episodes of SGA this afternoon with a friend who harras me to see this show because of Joe.lol
I don't know if it's because I'm more critical now but I saw small errors. It was funny to see the old/real team: John, Rodney, Teyla, Elizabeth, Carson, Ford.
For the moment, my friend doesn't like Teyla and Elizabeth.
