I've had to worry for the safety friends too often, lately. I'm glad you're alright too.

Planning on tying a white ribbon to my car tomorrow. The color of hope and peace, in memory of those who lost their lives today.

I've been to that departure hall many times over and will be there many times over, and my sister passes through there every day, every morning and every evening (unless I go and pick her up).

It's so unbelievable still.
It's like someone replied in an interview: "Today I'm okay, but ask me again tomorrow or two days from now." -- when reality hits.

Hello there sparkies! its been what 2yrs last time since I posted on this thread, gosh time does fly, I can't believe its been what 7 years passed since SGA got ax'd and tptb killed our sparky ship by one big fat torpedo.. I haven't able to watch rest of SGA season 4 or 5 I think right after ghost in the machine that was last time i saw on tv. It hurts so much if I were to watch SGA again, in knowing it won't be same without torri's character in it. Just saying.

And so is my sister, who works at the airport. She hadn't left yet for work when a colleague of hers called to inform us there had been an explosion and trains were delayed or not riding out. She takes the train to work hence the call.
We were debating what had happened when I saw the first tweet on my feed from a radio presentor who was at the airport at the time of the explosions. And then reactions started coming in and we watched the news...

I feel like such a bad friend. My first though when I heard about the attack was to check on your safety. Sadly, this was the first chance I've had to get on a computer that I could log in here and not have to worry about getting fired for doing so.

Hey, welcome back! Believe me, I think we all know how you feel about S4-5 just not feeling the same. But seeing the angsty looks on John's face every time something reminds him of Elizabeth...well, I wouldn't say it's worth it, because I'd rather have Elizabeth back, but it's satisfying. Just can't keep Sparky down.

Exactly I do agree with you on that part that we rather have Elizabeth instead of fake repli!weir or killed off screen Elizabeth either of that. i consider that Elizabeth ascended like Daniel did instead of writers made Elizabeth to be digitally ascended with niam's people. Just saying.

My sister was back at work today. They were allowed back into the offices, and it was quite emotional. Sadly, they learned that at least two members of the company were injured in the blasts. One whose eardrums burst, so he's temporarily deaf, and another who took the full force of the blastwave and suffered major internal injuries. He will make a full recovery. Others who were at the scene saw some horrific things, and most were walking around like zombies. Luckily there are pleny of psychologists available to aid with the healing process.

The entire departure hall has pretty much been destroyed and will have to be rebuild for the most part. Stripped and rebuild.
However, they are already working towards a temporary solution to get the airport working again.
