Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

This day can't be over quick enough... An hour before my workday was done, the battery of iPod died. And discovering whole new levels of boredom, I really need my music to offer me solace. Darn it.Heightmeyer's Lemming -- still the coolest Lemming of the forum

So I finally bit the bullet and bought a Blu-ray player. Today I tried to install it, but quickly discovered I needed a "HDMI cable", which of course is not included. What happened to the days when they actually GAVE you the cables you needed?????
So for all you Blu-ray players, do I need to buy anything else to get this working?
I tried to take pictures, but the upload failed.Last edited by JT-2; 25 April 2015, 03:28 PM.

And just for FH, I just finished cleaning out my closets and set aside 17 pairs of shoes for donation. Aren't you proud of me? *crickets*

When it really dies, I'm going to put it on display. My golden oldie, 2nd mp3/4 player.

OH.MY.GOD. You had 17 pairs of shoes that you could give away??? And still have plenty of other shoes?? I think the most pairs of shoes I've ever had at one time was 8 - and that's including sneakers, snow shoes, flip flops, and sandals.Remember that 1. I am old and 2. I admit to having a slight shoe problem.
Just as you don't understand how I can have so many, I don't understand all you people who survive with so few. One day when I'm bored, I'll do a total count. Maybe. But I can say that I know someone half my age who has many more than I do. It's an epidemic.

Originally posted by Southern Red View PostAnd after a while the cables no longer work. MR. SR is transferring our old VHS movies to digital, but he had to buy a brand new cable to make the hook up work. He literally has a "cable" drawer in his office, but none of them would work.
