Oh noes! I hope it was just that it needed a charge and not that actual battery was permanently dead.

Not dead dead but it's been running out too quick recently so I'm guessing it's nearing the end of its life cycle. Then again my iPod is 8 years old and it never wavered. It's been with ever since my aunt and uncle brought it back for me from the Apple Store in New York. When it really dies, I'm going to put it on display. My golden oldie, 2nd mp3/4 player.

So I finally bit the bullet and bought a Blu-ray player. Today I tried to install it, but quickly discovered I needed a "HDMI cable", which of course is not included. What happened to the days when they actually GAVE you the cables you needed?????

So for all you Blu-ray players, do I need to buy anything else to get this working?

And just for FH, I just finished cleaning out my closets and set aside 17 pairs of shoes for donation. Aren't you proud of me? *crickets*

OH.MY.GOD. You had 17 pairs of shoes that you could give away??? And still have plenty of other shoes?? I think the most pairs of shoes I've ever had at one time was 8 - and that's including sneakers, snow shoes, flip flops, and sandals.

Not dead dead but it's been running out too quick recently so I'm guessing it's nearing the end of its life cycle. Then again my iPod is 8 years old and it never wavered. I have one of those deep in a drawer somewhere. I can't bring myself to toss it. Everything today seems to have a built in obsolescence.

They didn't include the cable? Weird, my Blu-ray player came with all the cables. Maybe it depends on the manufacturer.

Yeah, we've got a box of cables, and a separate one for power cords, we've got so darn many.
