i wouldn't mind seeing something like that. (on the SG-1 side as well with the kids of the SG-1 team). but i have a question: would either one of John's kids be military?

For some reason, I'd lean towards the daughter being military and the son being more like Elizabeth, but maybe a scientist.

To be honest I haven’t thought about that aspect of any of them being in the military, but I guess I am with SW, the girl, rebellious as she is, will have to be the one in the military, following John’s footsteps, and the boy, being more like Elizabeth, will definitely have to be a scientist, or then an expert in Ancient language .

This is making the plot bunnies go nuts. And just when I got them sedated. Dang it.

And I am feeling better. Just a little cough but that should be gone soon. Haven't even been taking any medicine today, so it's just my body doing its job.

gad, I WISH we could still give red. I miss that option. There are some idjits that deserve it!

safe threads - good question. I have lots of friends all over the place and don't take things too seriously anywhere. However, I would avoid the Cantina like the plague if you don't like to be insulted. (I adore my friends there, but really, it is a constant trial by fire). Of course the thunk threads tend to be safe as long as you're willing to thunk the object of affection of that thread. General discussion is a mixed bag. You wind up with a lot of newbies asking the same questions that 100 other newbies have asked over these last many years. If you have the patience to cultivate these folks, you may find some enthusiastic new shippers.
