Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread
No. EOC testing is state mandated and not necessarily given for each class in each grade. Final exams are next week for seniors, and the following week for underclassmen.
At least in Florida. Then we be done and I can breathe again.
We did the last of the EOC testing today. AP testing is still ongoing.
This week is Algebra 1 EOC. Next week is Geometry. And I don't even pay attention to the AP tests. My high school has an "illustrious International Baccalaureate program" which only gives students an inflated ego and different methods to cheat so there's a gazillion tests that are being administered for them in addition to everything else.
My hands would be tired no matter how many people I was interpreting for. And it really does take a toll. Just went to the chiropractor this afternoon to get adjusted, and my doctor had to help break down some calcium deposits on my carpal tunnel, which was making my hand cramp up and go numb during work. Add to that the mental exhaustion of translating everything in my head first before I sign it, and yeah. I'm tired every day.
Judging by the number of stories that I've posted lately... I don't.
The only reason my hands aren't hurting right now is due to the chiropractor who is a miracle worker. And most of the time that I post on GW is from my iPhone which is easier to type on with thumbs.
