Good morning, Sparkies! Hope you're all still having a Pretty Friday, despite all the bad news right now.

*hugs FH* I'm sorry to hear about Mambo. *hugs some more*

I approve of how appropriate that is.

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

Actually, he wouldn't care about that. When you do something as planting a bomb in a crowded area, you're aiming for lots of chaos and death. However, the consequence of your action would be that the whole of the nation's gonna come after you and the possibility of dying is quite high. There's a reason why suicide bombers exist after all. They don't care for their own life as long as the cause is met.

A wraith could feet on him 183 times, and sure after a while he might consider the punishment enough and just want death. But the end result is the same... after 1 time, or 183 times. Death awaits.

I don't know whether the death penalty is still in use in Massachusetts (I think I wrote that wrong), but when they catch him... and not shoot him on sight like they did his brother out of self defense (as you might have seen, they didn't exactly play nice when being chased). He'll be going away for a long time and die in prison (whether the death penalty is still in use or not).

Now, if there's one thing I'm hoping for is ... why? Why did they cause this misery? What was their motivation and what were they hoping to accomplish for themselves?

Terrorists aren't exactly known being the most stable of people!

And yes, Forrest was quite old when she died. And she was quite a cat! She was very friendly.

Works for me. And bonus points for LCJS for using the word "lose" correctly. \0/

The ones strapping the bombs to their body... loose cannons (pardon the pun). The ones planning, however, they are the ones to be reckoned with.

I was gonna say that I haven't come a cat that wasn't friendly, but then I remembered my aunt's cat Zip... even I'm afraid of petting him, especially after he bit right through the soft tissue between my thumb and my index finger. It, of course, doesn't help he's a diabetic and needs to get his insuline shots... from me sometimes so I had it coming.

Yeah, diabetes is bad for people!

Well Forrest would come if you called her.

Anyone willingly set out to hurt another human should be fed to the wraith.

A few winters ago we had a suicide bomber here in Stockholm and we were all shocked by that, the guy fortunately had done something wrong with the bombs and they blew up unexpectedly when he was somewhere where they couldn’t hurt anyone and only he died, but it could have ended badly because the side street that he was on when he blew up lead towards the Stockholm central station and this was in a few days before Christmas so there was a lot of people outside and it also turned out that the bomber had out scrap metal in them just to cause more damage, so it was also right what someone said, these things can really happen everywhere.

Kulderzipke is a character from a Flemish TV-show, a sort of fairytale with a king and queen, and a princess, and a common boy named Kulderzipke who had to do all sorts of things to proof himself to the king as a worthy husband for the princess. It was a very funny show with lots of comical characters and situations. Oh yeah, they also had the brothers Grimm in it, they were inventors. It was a kids show and obviously I have it on DVD.

If anyone's interested in a bit of it - in Dutch obviously, no subtitles unfortunately.
