I use Photobucket, which organizes the pics, edits and lets you easily add them to other sites. You link directly to your computer.

If you're using Photobucket to post here, then you seem to have it set on "thumbnails" instead of IMG code. All you need do it copy/paste the IMG code to the thread here and it should be full size.

So after a busy weekend, we check in with our dynamic duo and see they have escaped captivity on planet Photo Album, managed to find 2 ZPMs, which John is guarding while Elizabeth reads aloud from War and Peace while they take shelter at the base of iMac mountain and wait for rescue. Looks like they've been busy.

I have an interview scheduled next week wednesday.

At the moment I don't even know what that is, so finding it will be a challenge. However, I do have plans of going back to school next year (evening classes) and do 3 years of IT.

This reminds me of a story I heard in the news yesterday. A 60-something year old professor was caught in a Dutch university watching porn on his computer. However, he had the computer hooked up to the big screen, and yes the (security) camera's in the classroom were active, so everyone could watch as well. He claimed when they confronted him that he had opened the webpage by accident. He was obviously suspended.

98.9% of the fics that I read are Sparky related. Today I decided to read a

And my gosh, it is amazing how things really depend on the point of view of the writer and I guess also of the reader, because in this particular fic, Rodney is the one that is feeling all guilty about what happened to Elizabeth and then when Sheppard’s team are together talking about what happened to Elizabeth, Rodney is the one who feels the guiltiest.

But that’s not what surprised me the most. What surprised me the most, and made me shake my head a lot of times, was the fact that John, in this fic, went to get glasses of water, pretending it was the champagne that they didn’t have, so that they would all toast to Elizabeth in a way of saying goodbye to her! Come on, I know that John would never be able of doing that!

I am feeling that the writer of this particular fic didn’t quite see the end of the episode, I mean we all know who was the one that was left standing alone near the gate (probably feeling guilty in some (or many) ways),and lets say that it was not Rodney!

I have a feeling I know which fic you mean. If the fic is from Rodney's point of view, of course he's the one who would feel the guiltiest - we're in his head! If we werein John's head, things would probably seem different. And if you have to remember that not everyone views episodes from a Sparky shipper perspective. Some people would believe, based on Ghost of the Machine, that this was a closure for Elizabeth's character, and the only thing left for John and his team was to try and move on. I know it irks, seeing as we are Sparky shippers, but other people are going to interpret episodes in different ways.

And Rodney did feel guilty about Elizabeth in canon too (see episode Seer), his awful scene in Reunion notwithstanding. To be honest, I thought John was not much better in Reunion, choosing that particular time to start joking about Rodney's crush on Carter and playing stupid pranks on him. It was inappropriate, it made both characters look bad for the sake of cheap laughs, and I mentally edited this scene out of my personal canon. But Rodney definitely felt guilt and grief, as his scenes with John and Radek in Seer and This Mortail Coil demonstrate.

Bu the way, if anyone has any suggestions for SGA fic recs that are based on specific episodes (Sparky or not Sparky), feel free to add them to SGA Episode Tag fic list in the fanfic thread. Have to make fic-finding easier for newbies! In fact, the more Sparky-friendly fic recs out there, the better!

Well, as I said, I did not think John came out of that scene looking much better,honestly. It wasn't appropriate to behave the way he did with Rodney (playing silly pranks on him so soon after Elizabeth's dissapearance). But anyway, that scene sucked. However, it doesn't discount the following scenes in This Mortail Coil and Seer that did show Rodney's grief and guilt with regards to Elizabeth. I guess if you're determined to be angry with him, you can ignore those scenes and focus on the one where he behaved callously. Me, I just see that Reunion scene as an extremely unfortunate attempt on the writers' part ot bring in some levity after several very angsty episodes. It was bad, to put it mildly, so bad that I never rewatch it, but I'm not going to hold it against the characters who I know both cared about Elizabeth deeply.


I was going to add a Sheyla tag to Ghost of the Machine section of the list which I advise you do not read if you don't want to be pissed off even more. I was pissed as hell after reading. But the list is for all pairings, so I guess I have to be fair. If you have any favorite fics dealing with this episode in a Sparky way, please, share the links, and I'll add them too.
