That was certainly very fitting for smutty Tuesday. Heh.

I can recommend more if you want! You could try: "Apologies" by peachy626, "Hot Nights and Hotel Rooms" by blackwidowmistress, "Leveling Fluids" by Valeriasg1, "Making the Rules" by Shayz (this one is *really* steamy), and "Riding the Waves" by Cassie Valentine.

      Hope you like these!

Haha, well I can’t imagine any daughter of those two would be. They are both stubborn and tend to get in over their heads most of the time and those traits would defiantly passed down to their progeny’s.

It really does, and that alone make it less surprising that so many felt the difference between seasons 1-3 and 4-5 and I would even go as far as saying that it’s not in a good way

Damn good movie. i'll say it before The Avengers team reminds me of the atlantis team:

Captain Steve Rogers / Captain America - John Sheppard
Tony Stark / Iron Man - Rodney McKay
              Thor - Ronon
Hawkeye / Clint Barton - Aiden Ford (????)
Black Widow / Natasha Romanoff - Teyla (maybe???)
Hulk / Bruce Banner - Carson Beckett (maybe???)

that's another thing i don't think i could get over if i went to a con is the nervousness of meeting somebody famous like that. i remember my senior year of high school i met this two star general and i was just shellshocked. i mean i had a Lt. Colonel as a Teacher, and here i am meeting a very high ranking official in the U.S. Military. it was honor to meet me people like that.

I'm sure he eventually understood you very well. I noticed that Joe gets that puzzled face when you tell him something, but I think it's that he's concentrating so hard on following and that he wants to be sure to get everything you are saying so he can make the right response. He seems to take every question seriously, except when he's up on stage and just turns everything into a joke.

Military people deserve respect and awe for the amazing job they do. I felt the same way about actors until I actually met someone. Chris Heyerdahl was the first actor I talked to and he just made me feel so comfortable that all my nervousness went away. DH and RP are the same way. They are so natural and talkative, you can't possibly stay scared. Age also helps. When you live as long as I have, nobody scares you anymore.

It's funny how celebrities act. Some of the sports stars I've met, how are revered, are super duper nice, down to earth people, and some of the lesser knowns are more, er, attitude prone. And then of course you have divas. I guess it depends on the people, really. But I can only imagine what it must be like at a con setting, with so many adoring fans talking to you, trying to focus on what each person is saying to make them feel special and show your appreciation for their support. As a shy person myself being around all those people would make me a little cuckoo. I don't know how they do it, but I admire them for doing it.

Speaking of adoring fans <---see what I did there? Box of Dreams, Part V--the fifth and final part--is published and ready to be read and adored. Please spread the word and Enjoy!

Got to disagree with this. John Sheppard is certainly not the squeaky clean paragon of virtue that Steve Rogers is. (Miller's Crossing? The Vegas AU?) I'd say John is probably a lot closer to Tony Stark. Which of course makes Elizabeth his Pepper Potts.

I'd actually say Rodney is closer to Bruce Banner. They're both always angry.

I think oddly derpy faces seems to be Joe's default setting.

Indeed. I've been lucky in that every star I've met (all at cons) has been wonderfully friendly, welcoming, and delighted to meet all of us nutty fans. I don't know how they do it with meeting so many people at once, but they're all such troopers.

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

I'm not shy but I'm a nervous person. Some people make me nervous, but I have a bad habit. When I'm nervous, I feel the need to laugh with the other person. When I passed my exams at school, I was the only one joking with the teachers. I wasn't comfortable but I need to demystify (or deconsecrate...I don't know how to say it) these people. It was the same for Joe. Stars or not stars, it's the same treatment.
The only time I was so nervous I could not talk to a person, it was when I met a French resistance during World War II during my studies. Impossible to speak.

I would love to meet Hugh Laurie or Norman Reedus in real life .I would be very nervous but not because of them but because I have to talk in ENGLISH.
For Joe is was easy. This man is perfect. He can speak French.lol

I think he was puzzled because I talked to him in french. My first sentence was "Can I talk to you in french? This should avoid the humiliation of speaking with my bad English in front of an actor that I love" and blablabla.lol He thought that the cards were only for him. I spent 10 minutes explaining Sga Rising. I thought my mission was a big failure. I was surprised to see your comments. When I read "he distributed the cards.", I was like "Ok someone gave him a better explanation".lol

Yeah, but Tony doesn't have as much problems with the ladies as Rodney does. Heck, Stark really *doesn't* have problems with the ladies ever! Hence why he's closer to Sheppard. And I could see Torri playing Pepper Potts.
