There oughta be a law against RL. It's why I came here in the first place, but now it's better and I still can't leave.

Huh, come to think of it, not in a while. I know she has a wedding coming up and lots of stuff to deal with in RL. We just can't get away from that can we?

We've got one hour until the postathon. I think it's going to be a small group.

And if you look up the Great Serpent Mound, it looks a bit like a Goa'uld from the air.

If no one knows why they were build, then they are as much a mystery as the standing stones in Carnac (France) or Stonehenge in the UK.

As long as I stay awake, I'll be here.

I hadn't heard about that one before but I did google it and it's pretty cool.

I think so. Pretty much every mound I know about is now a National Historic Site. I have read and heard speculation about them being everything from religious sites to defensive fortifications. However, the mound builds only left them, no writen language or even pictographs that I know of around them so anything and everything is pure speculation. Heck on the History Channel show called Ancient Aliens a guy was talking like they were landing markers for alien spaceships.

Just a little pre-announcement for those who haven't noticed. We will pass 125,000 during the postathon. Celebration to be held later.

Never been there myself. It's only the other side of the site. There is a smaller one about 45 minutes from my house that is interesting as well.

That is awesome and defiantly worth a celebration.
