I might be able to help with other questions, this one I don't know the answer to - not really though. I think it's something that was first recorded somewhere on LJ. I have a vague recollection of this tale.

Just to be clear. JM didn't say that they hired JF because they couldn't find anyone else. I said he essentially said that, meaning that he told about wanting Ben Browder but not being able to get him, then went on about other actors that had auditioned and then said they found JF and hired him because he had the right attitude. He just made it sound like he was their last choice.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up, I do remember reading that they wanted Ben for the part at first but don’t remember much else and I also haven’t heard the rest of that but yeah, it does at least sound like it even if he didn’t actually say it.

Oh, and I may or may not have written some angst for the last part of "WAHM51-936". *whistles*

Since I did no googling of this show before starting to watch it (and have watched seasons 2 & 3 within the last two days) there a few things I am wondering. It's basically a nonsense word that just caught on. I think Scary Kitty may have a link that explains it. It was in answer to the blended names like Sheyla and McShep and especially Shweir.

To back up pkprd869, I hated both Lucius with the white hot passion of a 1,000 supernovas. When he showed up a second time I kept hoping John would let Ronon slice and dice him.

Now that would've been far more interesting to watch than seeing Kolya die in a lame shootout with Sheppard.
