Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread
And they didn't even show us what it looked like outside! Actually, that was pretty clever.

She'd have been wearing blue if that was true. But it was pink. Pink is a Lizzeh color. Therefore, it's like Sparky 2.0. After a fashion.

Definitely one of SyFy's better movies. Joe was right about how he and the director went for the funnies. The goofy moments made it better than the over-the-top 'we're all going to die!' movies SyFy usually goes for.

I should post more often! But,,, In my defence I've been looking at Sparky vids and doing revision! Here is one such a vid that has made me cry! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPDJc_u8YJ8&feature=feedlik
Their "When I'm 64" video is my all time favorite Sparky vid.
We never saw Fast die, did we? So I say, somehow the device saved her too and they found her outside. Yes. Because I said so.
Well, it was fun chatting with you all tonight!!
Hmm, good point. If Synn and O'Hara were activating the machine at the same time as the monster was charging at Fast, it's possible. The machine certainly affected a large enough area the first time that it could've picked up Fast as well. Sounds like a fic bunny!
Was good to have you here to chat with! We've gotta do this again sometime. Anyway, have a good night's sleep and pleasant Sparky dreams!
Hey maybe Joe and Torri may wind up in a movie togethe......Oh god imagine how this thread will explode if that happens...
We can only hope...

SyFy HD is running Ferocious Planet again. Tuned in just in time to see John Rhys Davies' character (aka Senator Blowhard) get cut in half by the alien T-rex wannabe. Something tells me that's one death ol' Colonel Synn won't be regretting at all.

This will be my one and only attempt at doing something of this nature
Spoiler:
I used to think one day, they'd tell the story of us
Of how we met, and the sparks flew instantly

People would say they're the lucky ones
I used to know my spot was next to you

Now I'm searching the room for an empty seat
Cause lately I don't even know what page you're on

Is it killing you
Like it's killing me, yeah?

Since the twist of fate
When it all broke down

Looks a lot like a tragedy now
I was going to cap that whole song, but photobucket was being a pain. Plus I really couldn't be bothered
This is only because I couldn't get the song out of my head. The other one I couldn't get out of my head was titled **** Authority. I'm sure it's possible to cap that one *bites lip*
And some randoms, for good measure
Spoiler:
Weir prevents any possible attempt by Ellis to copy Sheppard Maneuver Beta by sitting on her own desk

The Atlantis version of walking down the aisle
You can not be serious. While you're down there? This is hardly the time!
Mornin' Sparkies. I loved the Ferocious Planet commentary. I would have joined you but we delayed viewing until 9:30 so we could ff the commercials. It worked like a charm.
It was a fun movie, lots of action and great humor. Mr. SR in particular liked the IRS bits. And we predicted most of the deaths in order. Funny that essentially Joe ended up with both women. Heh. There was one scene when I could have sworn the blonde girl forgot her lines and just stood there staring at him with a bit of drool coming out of her mouth. I though he had great chemistry with both of them. And next to John, Sam Synn is my favorite character. The opening scene reminded me of one of those Bruce Willis movies where he plays the run down washed out detective who wakes up hung over.
I had to bite my lip to suppress a moan when he said "This is sin Synn." into the radio. Now they need to make a sequel because that ending so lends itself to more.
