Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread

    Intense stories when dealing with them being fragile is a great example. Like what I am writing now which is an AU twist on Common Ground, John's shaken by what happened. As much as he would love to litterally pounce on Elizabeth (at least in my crazed unconscious he would like to) and do what adults do...he is at the moment I am writing, too fragile right now....maybe a little TLC would be better maybe in a few chapters ahead either A) when the fall out is done or B) when the aftershocks had diminished a bit and needs life breathed back into him. Even if it was the opposite, like if god forbid something terrible happened to Elizabeth it is not a good idea for them to do such a powerful thing.

    And to add to your comment about badly written smut scenes....holy @#$! you don't know how many badly written smut scenes I came across. (So Far in the SGA fandom there was not a bad Smut fic I came across so Kudos to the SGA writers) but when I read alot Tudors fics (mainly Henry/Anne fics which were written by teenies who liked Anne Boleyn and no one else and hated Jane Seymour for being a harlot and causing Anne's downfall and not give her a chance) I wanted to rip my hair out of my head it was like putting it in Sparky terms "John wanted sex, so did Elizabeth, they made love John was happy so was Elizabeth." I say to them...comming from my own experience, if you want to do the sex scene do some research and practice, practice, practice and gradually once you think you have pefected the art...share it to the world so everyone could oogle.

      I've got to tell you, I was assigned Intruder for a LJ challenge and all I can think about is Interruptus. I love that fic! I almost sent faillegaiden a message back begging for another epp. Yikes.

          Aw sweetie, that is really a huge, huge compliment. But please, WRITE IT. It's a great episode, and it has that lovely quote about "checking the rest later". I never got to address that, I'd love if you would!!

            Thank you both! I took the easy way out by selecting different scenes to fill in. Actually, in my head, Anuna's fic could fall into the timeline right after mine. It's my happy thought, anyway JT-2 was kind enough to beta, so I've just got some last minute tweaking to do. I love the checking the rest later line too- open's all kinds of storage closet doors.

                                Who would've thought that both of those officers (Shep's immediate superior, and his highest ranking subordinate) would be dead within a year
